      Reality checking made Easy

If your like me, you probably have some issues with remembering to reality check. This isn't the greatest method, (I use another one that cyg taught me, but its more complicated) but it will get you reality checking. This will only work if your an avid user of a cellphone (Or at least have a cellphone on you most of the time). What I did was I went to events, and set the event "Are you dreaming" at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, oclock each day. This meant that every day at those times, my phone would buzz with the method of "Are you dreaming?". After a while, you'll start reality checking WHENEVER your phone buzzes because you learn to associate the buzzing of your phone with state checking. Tell me how this works for you guys!

Actually, I have been doing this for months. After a while, it will start becoming a pain in the ass. Though, I've kept trying this up untill now. I'm shutting the events off next week, and if I'm right, I should be checking my cellphone about every hour, and instantly reality checking, because its not buzzing anymore. I have confidence in this method.

Training yourself to associate reality checking with your phone buzzing?

Not a bad idea. Not sure if my phone has this option though so I'll have to check on that.

If your calendar doesn't have the option to do this, you could always just program daily alarms. Although you can't have as many, it should still make you get the basic hang of the idea of this. I also know Windows Vista has the capability to remind you of things as well, so if your job requires you to be in front of a computer (or you do it for fun, like me xD) you could always try that.

cell phones are a good idea.

To RC - I just draw a large dot on my hand with marker, and look at it during the day.

I change the location day to day from the back of my hand, to my thumb, or change to the other hand to mix it up.
