I am a huge WILD fan, but when I fail, I like to have a backup plan. This is for failing by falling asleep, not waking up, FYI, but here it goes: my hybrid double-induction. |

Happy dreaming!
As WILDing is based mainly on the mindset and attitude you have toward the chance you'll have a lucid, this seems to me like you'd be going into the WILD with at least some amount of doubt. I don't mean this doesn't make sense or won't work, it's just that WILDing in theory would then be made harder by this method. |

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
I know it's based a lot on mindset--having a backup makes me more relaxed about succeeding! It helps me stop worrying about failure/nonfailure and focus on technique. but if it doesn't work for you, whatever. |

Does it really? In that case, sounds like it actually boosts your confidence in having a lucid, which can translate to confidence in a WILD. |
