OMG I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT(this is a technique)

Oh my...It was weird, no reality checks or anything out of the ordinary, I was walking down the street and all of a sudden, BAM I'm like, "fuck! I did it! I'm dreaming!" The first thing I did was put my finger through my palm. Then im like...okay, I want to see an aurora(those green lights in the sky). So I put my hands infront of my face and then remove them and it changed to night! Then I looked straaaight up and I saw bright green and dark and all shades of green and stared at it for a while. But then I started feeling my back against my bed and I woke up :'( I wish it was longer. I did my first LD in 6 days

sounds like a nice experience, even though it was that quick. Did everything look pretty vivid while you were dreaming? I still haven't tried putting my finger through my palm on my dreams... how did that look?

The first LDs are always so great no matter how short... hope you have some more, tonight or anytime soon! Good luck and good job!!!

Hey I'm sorry to dissappoint you guys but that post was fake. It was a technique I thought of and I wanted to try out and it worked! I had My first lucid dream and it was weird...I woke up at 4AM and I stayed up for 5 minutes. I tried to do that WILD thing and I think it kind of worked...I closed my eyes and kept thinking of knowing I am dreaming. Then I drifted into a dream and as soon as I did I realized I was dreaming! The first thing I wanted to do was to fly, but I couldn't! I kept jumping and jumping, then I wanted to summon a knife, but I couldn't! I tried putting my finger through my palm, but I couldn't! All I did was enjoy the scenery for a couple of seconds How do I fix this?

You know...it wasn't as vivid as I thought...it was just like a regular dream.

Yeah, I think the post was fake. I thik he was using it as a technique where he LIES about having an LD, then REALLY has one the next night.

Is it just me, or I don't see a new technique anywhere in this thread?
Does someone want to enlighten me?

i think its a type of reverse psycology well you lie to yourself and tell yourself you had a LD so you have a lucid dream

yeah, I think its something like that. didn't work with me last night, but then again I lied "jokingly."

My last lucid dream however happened after something like that. Apparently I tricked my subconscious before I went to sleep when I messaged Seeker and at the bottom I said "I'll let you know how my lucid dream goes." That night I had my second Lucid Dream which was pretty long and vivid. It was probably more of a coincidence more than anything else, but still makes you wonder if your subconscious can be tricked that easily.
