      Lucidity is bliss

I have studied lucid dreaming for a week.. And I started to do alpha and beta programming.. just occasionally. I did it for 2-3 days. Alpha programming is done by closing your eyes and say: "I'm dreaming. Am I dreaming?," of course you don't say it loud (well.. at least I don't know if that has an effect. By doing this 2-3 times a day (or more), you will program your subconsciousness. Then you will automatically ask yourself this question in your dream. The main problem is remembering the dream. I woke up 2hours after falling asleep.. and I remembered the first dream.. wrote it down and fell asleep again.. the next morning I didn't remember it until I read the piece of paper... Good Luck people.. Lucidity is a bliss, a gift. Ever wanted to have sex with the playgirl of the month??? This is your oppurtunity.

Good idea, but in general I never liked Playboy's taste in women myself. Last time I tried to get laid in a dream the damn cat woke me up.

Better luck to me next time, I guess.

      Right

The common goal and one of the many treasures lucid dreaming bears. Good comments.

I never did like user levels (well of course not, I'm still a n00b even though I was one of the first people to register!). It's going to get a little silly if I ever become a "lucid guru" and am still as clueless as I am now about LDing.

hrm. someone, whom shall remain nameless (because i think that's how PAPERDOLL would want it) seems to have forgotten rule #1. Let me just repost it to jog her memory:

      1. Please do not discourage new users from posting. That means even if they ask a question that has been asked a kajillion times, please don't freak out at them. If you're getting annoyed with how often a topic has been posted then politely suggest that they use the search feature. I just don't want to deter anyone from posting here.

      you're welcome!
