Attaining Lucidity via Dream Views Forum

Alright this happened last night, i was carrying a heavy object in a public restroom, and i was kicking open all the stalls, and they were full of people, and i was like damn, where am i gunna put this thing, then it hit me,
DIDNT SOMEONE from the Dream Views Forum have a dream that all the stalls in the bathroom were full, so this is a dream, and i took off flying, etc.

Well the point and the question is...THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL, isn't it?
Just hearing of everyones expiriences, and techniques and applying them to my dream life, has made my it more interesting for me.

Has anyone else realized something from this forum in a dream and gained lucidity through it, or anything related?

Anyone who does will end up smelling.
Knowing this, why do I defy? Because my inner voice is yelling.

Glad to see you're out of bed you young whippersnapper

I've learned so much here, it's amazing! I am sure there is at least one thread here that has forced lucidity for me, but cannot remember for sure.... maybe something to do with an afro?

Well, think about it. If all you do is read up on dreams and on a dream forum, your subconcious will think about it and you will remember dreams more! If something's in the back of your mind, it's just that, in the back of your mind, your subconcious.

I had only two lucid dreams in my life before coming to this site. Then after a few weeks of being here, I've been having LDs like crazy! Maybe its because I visit this site right before I fall asleep.

Yeah this forum has given me a few additional ideas. I sometimes related alot of topics discussed into my LD's.

Yeah ive been hoping to increase my LDs by going to this site a lot and writing my non LDs and reading all that I can.

Anyone got good training tricks? I dont have a watch so i cant set an alarm so i can look at it every hour to make sure i am awake. I try lightswitches, but thats sort of hard to remember.

Any tips? I miss LDs! its been about 3 months!

maybe take a small break for a few days. that seemed to help some people for some reason.

      Suggestion for Attaining Lucidity

Is there someting that you know alot about like a subject, tv show, a family member, a friend or a place. For me I learned that Star Trek is something I know alot of things about.

You might try looking into something that you are familiar with and monitor to see if they are in your dreams. If you notice this dream sign often then pay attention to it in yoru dream. If your dream twists it around and you notice it this could be your key to getting lucid.

Im hoping to try this out by watching star trek episodes and reminding my self to check if i am dreaming. I dream of star trek often.

      Welcome Jammer

This site is awesome. I started looking at Lucid Dream sights around xmas time. One night I woke up and I remembered all my dreams clearly. All of a sudden I was curious about Lucid Dreaming because I learned about it in psych class a while back. I found many sights and one of them led me to here. After a week and a half I had my first lucid dream. Horray.

      Congrats to you!!!!!

there are alot of techniques for practicing for gettin better, its an exciting road ahead

Welcome and make sure to spread the word. 8)

Yeah. I think the more you think about something (for example, these forums, or a really long book you like reading), the more likely you'll see it pop up in a usual dream. It's even more helpful if the forum/book/whatever it is has a name like "LUCID DREAMING", because that's bound to help you become lucid.
