PPILD - New ld induction technique experiment.

OK, I made up one. I didn't read about this one anywere so I think I made it up atleast within the confines of this site.

Anyway, we all gona do an experiment to see if this works.

PPILD = Paper and Pen Induced lucid dream.

      (1) Before you goto bed, get a paper and a pen.

      (2) Write on the paper 10 times that you will have a beutiful pleasant dream.

      (3) Write on the paper 10 times that you will remember your dream when you wake up.

      (4) Write on the paper 20 times that you will have a beutiful pleasent dream that you will remember when you wake up.

      (5) Write on the paper 10 times that you will have a lucid dream.

      (6) Write on the paper 10 times that you will have a dream under your full control.

      (7) Write on the paper 20 times that you will have a lucid dream under your full control.

      (8) Write on the paper 40 times that you will have a beutiful pleasant lucid dream that will be under your full control and will be remembered when you wake up.

Do this every night for about a month before you goto bed.
If it works for absolutley no one. Then we label this experiment: Inefective or rarely affective.

If it works for many people or for at least a few then we will label it: Very Affective Success.

Ready... Begin tonight and try it for a month.

I really hope this work ya know.

      -------------

If this doesn't work then maybe you could do it in a text-to-speech program and have the computer read it to you in 2nd person.

Or record yourself in 1rst person and have it played back upon your going to sleep. You might play it several times. Anyway, this is new experimental paper-and-pen technique. The one with the text-to-speech is merely mixing this and another.

      What do you think?

Well that's a lot of work to do every night before you go to bed, and honestly not everyone has that kind of time or patience, especially for a technique that hasn't even been tested and might not even work.

That said, repitition does usually work its way into your subconcious, this just seems a little excessive.

You basically said we had to write that we were going to have a lucid dream 120 times before going to sleep. That's almost 4 full pages of writing, maybe more depending on how big you write.

OK, well then write it a different repeat amounts. Keep writting more each night untill you find one that might work. Youll propably set a limit that you wont go any higer this way your hand don't fall off.

Your technique could work. It is a matter of implanting into your subconcious. When you write, you bring many of your senses into play. If you could eat something and then speak the words as you write them down, it would be more effective.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Indeed, but my familly would think I'm crazy if I startedtalking to myself with my mouth full.

What may help, is if you record yourself saying it as you write it down, then listen to it everytime and write at the pace of the talking. So basicly dictation.

man, that seems like alotta work, too much for me to try.

that could work though, just not for everyone, but for the people that it would work, i think it'd work nicely.

Writing similar things down so many times for a month, this permanently implants the thought of it, thus leading you to remember it while dreaming aswell, tha result...lucidity, same with recall, your just remembering to remember your dreams.
