Unsucessful first attempt at WILD, but...

Well, I woke up after about 5 hours of sleep, had some caffeine(I cooled down a bottle of green tea the night before), and stayed up for about a half an hour reading through my dream journal and went to the bathroom.. After, I laid down in bed and relaxed, focussing on my senses, and eventually, my arms started to numb and feel really warm, hot even. They felt really heavy and uncomfortable, and then it dulled off. I tried it again, but to no luck, so I tried a mild, which was also unsuccessful.

But, I want to know if I went anywhere when my arms felt like that.

only your arms? when I try to wild I also feel that all of my body is going numb (not paralyzed) I feel a huge gravity pushing on me and then after 30min the HI and sound begins

but try to fouse on your breathing and stop thinking about it when all your body feels numb and start concentrating on your HI

It was strange, I haven't yet experienced HI yet. Thanks though.

Keep telling yourself in your head that you will be dreaming soon, dont drink too much caffiene or it will be harder to fall back asleep, only a little. Get as comfortable and relaxed as you can, dont be afrain to switch positions and roll over, your arms falling asleep could just be that they went numb cause you hadn't moved them in a while.... You wont be able to fall asleep if you are uncomfortable.. Relax, have a good breathing technique, get all the "kinks" out of your muscles and joints, stretch maybe before you go back to bed.. I like to have a lil "white noise" while i'm attempting to wild, such as a fan of some sort or the A/C blowing in the background, it kind of lulls me to sleep. Keep at it though, it seems like you are close and have the right amount of dedication to succeed, rememeber, stay positive!!!! If you think you can, then you probably will.
