I was just going back and re-reading all the journal entries I made the mornings after a lucid dream, and most of them include some kind of reference to "I can't believe how real it is." While in an LD, for me anyway, everything is as real as it is in real life. While flying, I feel the wind in my hair; if I land on wet grass, I can feel the temperature of the grass and how it feels between my toes, etc. Really, the only way I knew in my LD's that I was actually dreaming was by doing RC's (mainly the nose check) every few minutes. Beyond that, it's as real as can be. Hope this helps...
