      Great Way to become lucid

The past few days i had been trying unsucessfully to have a WILD. I usually had at most one lucid dream a week, so it was to my great suprise when this occured. On Sunday night i woke up at 3:00 am and started to listen to music, after nearly half an hour i tried to have a WILD and got to the sleep paralysis stage but not any vivid imager so i got bored and stopped and went to sleep. That night a had 2 lucid dreams after i tried to WILD. I repeated this the next night and then last night with the same results, just thought it must be more than just a coincidence and might be worth a try.

brooks, this is quite common for me. It makes perfect sense. You are putting a lot of willpower and concentration into WILD. This is the same thing you do for MILD.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I had a similar kind of experience.

I woke up about 4 or 5 am and could not get to sleep. I changed the side of the bed (head to feet/feet to bed) and started to do the MILD mantra and focus my attention in in the point between the eyebrows. I started trying to see a very bright little white dot and after that started to visualize the letters "LD" in white with a darl background.

I had a long and very beautiful LD. I was walking around with my 2 years old boy and met my grandmother (that died 14 years ago). I gave my boy to her, put him on her hands e took a picture of the scene. It was very beautiful and full of joy.

      note to self...try this.

Ive often fallen asleep listening to music, which I really like, but I dont find that it helps to induce LDs...
