      What's wrong with this picture?

I've been having about 3 dreams a night this past week.
And in the dreams,I just come out and say I'm dreaming.
Just out of the blue. But still don't become lucid.Do I have to
like, understand what MEANS to be dreaming.

      That sounds strange....

I'd say in your case, I suggest reading more about lucid dreaming and know the meaning of Lucidness....

hrm. becoming lucid while dreaming simply implies realizing you are dreaming; the level of lucidness correlates to the level of realization. remember not to confuse dream control with lucidity. Are you fully realizing you are dreaming? Or are you simply stating, "I'm dreaming," and then continuing on having a normal dream, without fully appreciating the fact that you are really dreaming?
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

hmmmm maybe its more or less a lower form of Low-Lucidity I mean there is enough acknowledgement there of dream awareness but at the same time it just seems like you're saying Im dreaming and keep going on with your regular dream designed for you. Well maybe some reality checks should give you that extra boost you need. You're there already you just need that extra kick.

It seems I just don't understand
what it means to be dreaming.

I think that used to happen to me all the time, where someone would tell me that its a dream or i would realize it, but have no control, just continue on whatever i was doing.
just read up more on LD'ing, on the meaning, but im just saying what everyone else said. or perhaps, if you can, next time say "I AM LUCID NOW" or something that will help you gain more control.

      oh! and welcome!

Have you ever tried to step in my shoes?!
Have you ever tried to balance on that beam?!
And if you ever tried to step in my shoes,
They’d never be quite as soft as they seemed.

When you say "i'm dreaming" try to realize the power that this realization gives you. While you are in the waking life imagine what you could do in a place if you had realize that you 're dreaming.
