Thread: How many ?

Ok so here's a thing that happened to me a couple of weeks ago . I was partying with my friends in my villa and after some time i went to bed . I can't really recall the begining of the dream , but the part i remember from was all the same as my awake body was in real time . I dreamed of myself waking up in the same bed i went to while i was awake , i talked with the same person that was in the room , i climbed down the stairs to clean up after party and there were my parents , who shouldn't bother me while im partying and i'm like you've got to be shittin me , i try to do these reality checks like pinching myself or holding my nose but it didn't seem to work , and a couple of moments later BAM ! i wake up ( At least that's what i thought has happened) And i'm in the same room as i was really sleeping telling the person who was with me in the room about this crazy dream , that my parents were downstairs and so and we are both laughing , i put on my shirt , climb downstairs and there are my parents again i'm like no way . I try the same reality checks , nothing happens , i get blamed for all the mess ive made at the party and Bam ! i wake up again , i tell my friend the same story , we laught bla bla bla i go downstairs there are my parents again and i wake myself again . And this continued for like 8-9 times .

So my question is : Why wouldn't i go lucid after being in the same situation numerous times in the same dream , having so many false awakenings , doing these reality checks , and really thinking , that it is a dream . I achieved lucidness with the same techniques in the past . How many false awakenings can there be ? / Whats the biggest number u've had

It's not a direct question , it's just one of my stranger dreams i wanted to share . I suppose that it might happened to some of you also .
