3rd eye meditation and lucid dreaming

hi this is my first post. well, before I went to sleep yesterday, I was meditating on opening my 3rd eye. after my meditation I fell asleep. I woke up again around 6 am and went to sleep again. I had this dream about my brother, he was a psychopath in my dream and he was going to kill me! it wasn't a nightmare but I was scared so I locked him up in our house and I ran away. I was climbing onto a shack across our street, when suddenly... I woke up, but I was still in my dream! I took advantage of this and I looked around and thought: "hmm it all looks so real, not bad for a dream. well, I'm in control now, let's fly!" and I was flying and it was so easy! after a minute I could feel my dream was ending.

So, i'm going to meditate on waking up in my dream tonight! but here's my question: Has lucid dreaming something to do with my 3rd eye opening? is my 3rd eye opening now???

Jumpy, I've used the Suneye method to achieve lucid dreams and this method involves using your 3rd eye.

The link below details the Suneye method.
