For some reason everytime I close my eyes when trying to go to sleep, I can induce a weird dizzying feeling if I take deep breaths and sit still for a few seconds. |

Sometimes the intake of too much oxygen (or more than you're used to) can cause you to feel light headed and dizzy. I get this during music and drama lessons because I have to sing during them. My teachers tell me to breathe deeply and it can make me light headed. Some people can even faint from this. |

Deep breaths can cause light-headedness, most likely whats happening. Unless you mean you can make it feel like you're spinning in your head, like rotating. thats a bit different. |
