      What's up with this?

For some reason everytime I close my eyes when trying to go to sleep, I can induce a weird dizzying feeling if I take deep breaths and sit still for a few seconds.

If I keep it up is it a way to get into a lucid dream?

Sometimes the intake of too much oxygen (or more than you're used to) can cause you to feel light headed and dizzy. I get this during music and drama lessons because I have to sing during them. My teachers tell me to breathe deeply and it can make me light headed. Some people can even faint from this.

Or... maybe it's something else. That (^) is what popped into my head though...

Deep breaths can cause light-headedness, most likely whats happening. Unless you mean you can make it feel like you're spinning in your head, like rotating. thats a bit different.

Yeah that's what I meant, sorry for being so vague.

I also meant when I'm trying to go to sleep...
