      Realising You're Dreaming...But Not.

This has happened to me a few times in my dreams lately and I probably just passed it off as part of my dream. I haven't been performing RCs lately, or even really thinking about LDs, but during my dream I've said to myself "Hey, I'm dreaming", but instead of becoming completely Lucid, I simply accept the fact that the dream is 'lucid', and return to my previous state.

It's kind of hard to explain, and I haven't thought about it much, but has anyone ever realised in their dream that they are in fact dreaming, but continue to let their dream character continue on their unguided path? It's as if you've been told you're lucid, but you either haven't fully comprehended the situation, or simply can't be bothered to take control.

Now that I think about it, I remember this on a few occaisons - apart from performing RCs, are there any other methods or things I can do to help my awareness in my dreams or my 'caring factor' when I do realise I'm lucid?

Yea that happens to me sometimes. It's annoying haha
"Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots. You see, reverend Maynard tomorrow is harvest day, and to them it is the holocaust."

Maybe you should set some goals. That way when you become lucid you have something to do. An example of this could he to increase clarity. That might give you more meaning for the lucid dream
