Very misleading title (not yours, the article's). It turns the experiment that Andrew Cleland, the scientist mentioned in the article, did was not related to parallel universes, but to something else (something related to mechanical motion). I believe Science Daily reported the experiment correctly. |

Try reading the "Houses of Time". Don't wanna spoil but it's related to LD and parallel universes. |

Lol I guess the doublepost is proof if a parellel universe.. the post from another universe slipped into this one =P |

The idea of parallel universes is fascinating. Imagine what we could do if we were able to tap into another one of those universes, and be able to watch the actions and consequences of our future selves before we made any decisions in the present? According to some theories every possible senerio exists somewhere and we choose which reality we experience by the choices we make. Might we occasionally be tapping into these universes now, in our lucid dreams? |

Good point. I think this very well could be the case. Have you ever had one of those dreams where you knew the person or persons in the dream so well, so absolutely well that you were shocked as your brain grew more awake that you didn't actually know these people? I often think that maybe these are bleed throughs from alternate realities, and the thread that binds these alternate yous together so to speak, is the dream world. |

Yes I have noticed this. The dream characters seem so familiar and I know I've met them somewhere. Yet I know I haven't. It's the same kind of feeling you get when you pass someone on the street and you know that you know them but you don't know how. It could be that your individual dreamscape is where all of your other " parallell lives" converge into one larger consciousness. The dreamscape could be this larger consciousness where these alternate realities meet. |
