Someone please help me identify what happened to me ?

A long time ago, I remember I had fallen 'asleep'.....but a few minutes later, more than sure I'm asleep, I feel heavy...groggy....my surroundings were the same; I was still in my room, I start to sit up slightly...I feel like I'm getting out of my body....and I see things...I see a creature beside my bed....a deformed human on all fours, I wasn't afraid...I looked and I laid back down and closed my eyes again..and then drifted off ... It sounds strange, and it's hard to describe.....but the state I was in at that time. I was in between sleep....I don't know how to describe it, someone help me?
