I think this is where this goes. It's a question of whether you think this was an example of early (very early) astral projection after death.
In Ancient Egypt, it was believed that people had a ba and a ka, as well as various other things that lived after death.
To my knowledge, when a person died, their ba and ka would leave them to the afterlife. However, the ka would come back to the deceased's body every so often. This is why Egyptians placed so much emphasis on preservation.
Do you think this was an idea of astral projection? The two bodies leaving, and returning to the body every so often? Do you think this is possible today after death?
Sorry if this is confusing.
