      Question?

Does anyone know about the technique Dreamwalking where you enter into someone elses dream. From things I have read it works best in a lucid state. Has anyone had any success with this because I have tried and it didn't work very well.
Life doesn't truly begin until the dream state hits.

Oh, yeah! Like that one in Spongebob! That was so cool. Anyways, you have to do a WILD 1st, when you enter SP, try to struggle out of it, which results in something like a FA, fly over to the person's house whose dream you want to enter. When you find them, tackle their head (doesn't hurt at all). Let me warn you right now though that it really isn't that safe. You are in someone else's territory, & they can take advantage of you. Also, you cannot wake up, unless you go back to the beginning scene (the bed). You cannot eat anything in anyone's dream, b/c there is some sort of rule against that! No, you will not get stuck in their head if they wake up on you (see Spongebob!), but still, I would much rather dream share than do that!

We haven't really figured out how it works, but we have people researching it right now. Wait a few months and check out a few research threads.

I already know how it works! It works through one of my special WILDs (or sci-fi, as I refer to them as, please don't kill me! ). As for Dream Sharing, you must have a special bond w/someone, a high LDing level, & a secret message. If you & your partner say this message simotaniously, you will dream share, but it takes practice. My niece & I have done that 5 times!

I would like to hear more on this. It would really be nice if I had a detailed explanation. I would like to try it myself.

How do you get into others dreams?
Can you both control the dream?
Can someone kick you out of a dream?

What do you mean by isn't safe? Do you mean you can die? Or do you mean they can control you and rape you or something like that?

So your saying that even if someone in real life trys to wake you up, you cant wake up?

Yep! No way to wake up until you return to the place the dream started! Yeah, I remember the time my Dad couldn't wake me up until I came back, so he almost thought of me as out cold! Usually, I try to be punctual in that now!

Er...yeah. What's the proof on this? I mean, I'm not saying dream sharing is impossible, but do you have proof? 'Cuz it seems a little out there. Have you tried the three-party proof thingie? I saw it on the research boards (Did you come up with it, Yume?). Basically, there's three people. Two dreamers and a middle-man. The dreamers each have their own password, which is unknown to the other one. The middle man knows both passwords. So, when they dream, they tell each other the passwords, then, upon awakening, they tell the middle man the password that the other person said, and he verifies if it was correct.

Yeah! My niece says that she had a dream, & I tell her, I drempt the same thing. Also, one time, I was able to share one w/Cody & Michelle (ie: the one we were wearing white robes, had 2 of us, & went to Disneyland) through a sci-fi (but they were having one too!)

Not that I wouldn't take your word on things, but it would be nice if there was third-party evidence.

Well, in the sci-fi in Disneyland, there was, except I don't know if having a shared sci-fi dream in which there are 2 of each of us (the 2nd of us being unconscious on our beds), wearing a white robe, having an extended blue/pink sash, & real time & real places count, b/c Michelle tells me that we were in the same area, but she doubts that it is a dream. So we did have a 3rd party, but she thinks that it's real life (why? That doesn't make sense, considering we have duplicates, are in white robes, & have a blue/pink sash tied on our bellies that act kind of like something that you use at the start of a maze!)

I've been trying to do this for over a year now without any success. You say you have to wait until you are in SP during a WILD and then try to struggle out of it? Sounds pretty difficult.

Well, I have had LDs since I was 3, & I started sci-fi'ing when I was almost 16, if that helps. Also, beware! If you are scared that there may be a 2nd of you, there is, so watch out!
Well, & DSing required a high level of LDing! Must be a Dream Expert, a Dream Administrator, or a Dream Sage. My niece is a Dream Expert & I am a Dream Sage, so that is kind of the answer. Also, you & your partner must yell out your secret message in your LDs at the same time.

Well, your sig flashes kinda quick, and it's near impossible to read. If you slowed the frame rate to one every three seconds or so...

And by third-party evidence, I mean somebody NOT involved in the actual dream. No matter how many people are in the dream, they still all count as first-party evidence. Third party would be somebody on the outside verifying what each person said. That's why I brought up that password-technique I found on the Research board.

Yeah her sig flashes so damn fast, I mean WHO the HEll can read that shit anyway??? Gosh!

Also, I have struggled out of my body several times during sp and had FAs (more like fake OBEs) and was walking around...and I didn't have to "get back to myself" before I woke up. I'm just saying nesgirl, you aren't the know all authority on how dream sharing works. Just because YOU think that you have to make it back to your own bed doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. I believe it is different for every person. You can speak from experience, but don't try to tell people that this is THE only way.

I agree with lucidnina.. I mean, when you talk about all the things that makes dream sharing work, it almost sounds like something taken from an adventure game
And as nina said, that may be the case for you, but I'm sure that there's other ways to succeed.

anyway... I have to look into this some more. It sounds really cool though

It has nothing to do with being moronic...just remember that we are all still growing and learning and that we cannot say that ONE way is the right way or the other. I'm also not saying I don't believe you...b/c I do, I just believe that each experience is different for every person. And I think it's funny that she calls you casper haha...at least he is a friendly ghost!

Why would she call me that anyways?! Well, it is okay if you don't believe me anyways, really. I am so used to that!

I DO believe you, it's just the way you described everything, like there's only one way to do it.
I'm so sorry for the missunderstanding. No hard feelings?
