I gave myself a leg cramp with my mind!

This is a really crazy story. I have a history with cramps, really bad ones like charlie horses. I have gotten multiple times while playing soccer. This is only time that I get them, just on the field. Well the other night I was at my friends house having dinner, and I was talking with their mom and their sisters and we somehow got on the subject of cramps. So I started talking about when it first started happening, the intense pain I had. I was going on about "yeah it just really hurts really really bad." Ok and then right out of now where I was like "oh my god" I was having a cramp in my hamstring right then. It started contracting real fast, I was like wincing at their table, and telling them oh my god I know this is wierd but I swear I'm not acting, I'm really having a cramp right now, I must have like willed it to happen. Ok now it wasn't a full contraction, it was pulling really bad for about 20 seconds and then I stood up and it was gone. It was so incredibly wierd though. It was like I willed the cramp to happen. There were freaked out because they thought I was acting and I was really having one!

The only other explanation that I can think of is that I was playing soccer before I came. It wasn't incredibly intense though we were just playing games like kickball and worldcup. I have never had a cramp off the field, and I have had only had cramps in my calves never my hamstrings. You decide!

This doesn't surprise me at all. My Gothlark can will himself to feel all sorts of different things, as well as willing other things to happen.

I don't doubt that you actually did it.

Yeah, I agree with Ramu on this one--doesn't that fit in with manifesting reality and stuff?

If only I could learn how to do this, I wouldn't have to worry about gym class!

And yes dreamboat, there is a soccer (football in the UK, right?) following in the US, although not as large as American football, baseball, etc...

I have done the same thing. The cramp lasted for 2 minutes. I was remembering when I did cross-country a few months ago. It is very possible to bring up memories of what you have physically felt.

Hey Seph, now that you know you've got the power, you oughta focus on incuding something else besides pain...

You know, like... (My Gothlark does that all the time -- small wonder he doesn't mind staving it off until we get hitched. )

Dreamboat will be okay. After we bludgeon him a couple of times. Of course, with all of the love that can be conveyed in a bludgeoning.

Anyway, this is a breakthrough in powers. I can see it now.

Jim is being chased by spies, who want to kill him and then use him as an exotic floor rug.
Jim: Ah ha! I have the best idea! *stops and starts concentrating*
      Jim's leg gets a cramp.
      Jim: HAHA!......oh.
Spies capture him, and Jim spends the rest of his days stretched out in front of the fire in a little cabin in the mountains of Russia.

I wish I could be a cool floor rug in Russia near a fire. That'd be warm.

Most likely it was just a coincidence that this happenned. The way you think or your level of concentration does not affect affect involuntary muscle spasms.

Pain, and alot of feelings are relative and 'up da head' (well, more or less, they are real of course) . Somebody with a truly trained and powerful mind can very well ignore most minors pains and probably invoke some aswell..I mean, the mind/imagination is a powerful thing.

yea I love to joke about the cramps with people, but I can remember other times when I tried to use my mind to ease my pain and to use my word in that way also.

Once I ate at this resturant with my soccer team, and I ate had a steak, and on the way back on the bus I had began having very intense leakage and my stomach started hurting. I knew I had to last all the way back, so I started focusing my mind on relieving the pain, and thinking about how the pain didn't have to exist. I had just finished reading a book, "conversations with god" so I was thinking a lot about how we create or realities, so I tried to rid myself of the pain. I think I even asked the trees to help me, as we drove by them, like to somehow send me energy (I think of trees as very powerful organisms). Its hard to do so when in such pain, but I think some of my efforts might have worked, because after I started I was able to control myself for about 25 minutes and we only stopped once (this was very good considering what I was doing and feeling), and then I got to my mom, who fed me some peptobizmall.

That is true! Did you know that when I was little, I used to bump my head into walls, but I never cried or even winced. I just walked away like nothing happened. Most of the time, I simply just try to ignore pain. It barely tickles usually, & if it effects me, things could get worse.
On the other hand, sometimes I am just trying to focus on doing my job, & I suddenly get a jolt in my shoulder. I think that may be b/c I have way too much energy, or maybe I build up static....

when I was younger I used to always have the same pain/ sickness everyday I had to go somewhere, but the days that I stayed at home I had no problems, we went to the doctor and he said thatr it was all im my head, it got to the point where my mom didnt believe me anymore but ofcourse that only made it worse

then I guess when I graduated I felt alot of pressure being pulled off of me and they went away, Its really easy to will yourself into sickness but I dont reccomend doing it to get out of classes and such (prolly caused me many health problems later in life)

also the sickness was real, I would throw up and be put down by the pain that I had everyday
