      woo hoo Deja vu

      yeah... cheezy title, whatever.

Today I was at my freshman college orientation for UCSB, and I met a girl there that said she thought she reconized me from somewhere else. This seemed pretty normal to me, seeing how college freshmen are meeting quite a few people, seeing a lot of new faces, except that I had sort of the same feeling...

We were both taking different engineering majors, so we happened to be doing a lot of orientation activities together..

In one of the sessions we were in the hallway in some discussion group talking about some ethnicity situation - long details - she said she could relate because she was russian and could speak russia too. This Is when the bigger deja vu hit me. It was still minor (it happens quite often to me, often enough that I don't really get that excited any more), so I just kinda let it play out like watching a rerun of TV that lasts a few seconds and is real.

Later we talked about it more, we agreed that it was kinda weird that we both seemed to reconize each other and how I had deja vu and all, but nothing every really came of it, apart from a new friend in college :-).

I think that it is pretty crazy that I'll get all these little clips of Deja vu that pop up in life, some times I'll know what someone will say next, what I'll then respond with (even though I could probably say something different if I wanted to), and then what they'll say/do after that, I just let these events happen and just "play along" with them to see how far they will go for.

I think these deja vu's come from remembering small amounts of dreams I've had, and I don't think I can really improve them, apart from trying to increase my dream recall. But then I still won't know what from any of my dreams will or wont happen. When it does happen, it is pretty damn close to what I "remember" from before.

      Gotta love the freaky stuff!

And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

I have done that a few times, but its been a long time since I done it.It happened about the same with you, I just know what some one will say, and how to respond before they even know their gonna say it, lol its fun to see their expression when you tell them the answer to a question before they even ask it.

well I dont really see any use for this, but iv had many moments of dejavu, really no use to them and they get pretty agnoying, but like you said they always feel like little bits of dreams from last night that you just barely remember for a few seconds

I get that all the time. It's kind of a strange feeling when you think you know someone (a complete stranger) and it turns out that you don't.

Perhaps those bits of deja vu showed you the way to a new friendship.

If you can learn from these experiences and develop them I'm sure you can improve your reality. For instance, I had a dream (deja vu experience) once about my car. In reality I had a gut feeling that we shouldn't take that car on this long drive we were about to go on. Instead of listening to that feeling we took the car anyway. On the trip the car broke down, apparently it had a severe oil leak and tore the engine up. Now I have learned from that (and many other experiences like that). If I get the least bit uneasy about something or the feeling of deja vu I look at the situation more carefully. Usually when the deja vu is a bad feeling there will be a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach (like nausea) and in turn something bad will happen. If I get a good feeling of deja vu I get a more tickling feeling in my stomach and an overall tingle all over my body.

Wow I hope all that reads well, it's so hard to write how I feel in a readable manner. My thoughts just move a mile a minute and it's hard to keep up. So there may be empty areas or fuzzy areas. Sorry in advance if there are.

heh heh, so it sounds pretty common, like I think it would.

what was really odd to me, is that we both seemed to think we reconized each other... group deja vu.

... hopefully I may be able to improve it, somehow. answering questions before they're asked would be fun.
