      Healing in dreams

Hi - has anybody had the experience of having a lucid dream and being able to heal themselves? I'm sure I did earlier this week - I saw my body, imagined what I wanted to heal - and now I feel so much better!

I'm thinking it's either - the power of suggestion
or - in the dream state you can manipulate your subtle or astral body in a way you can't when you're awake.

Anybody have any experience of this?

No, but that is b/c I am almost always feeling healthy, & when I do get sick, I often heal ultra fast! I am sure if I did, it would probably work....but I almost never get sick!

Prehaps it was natural for him to dream a new name, for he was the last of his family and alone among the indifferent millions of London.

nor do I - still get ill quite a lot, though. I've got this friend who hasn't even had a cold for 5 years - he literally never gets ill - he's vegan, so maybe that's got something to do with it.

I guess it could have something to do w/my diet, since I eat mostly carbs & little meat (I heard meat has cholesterol in it!).
I am not sure if my constant LDing, or the fact that when I feel relaxed, I always sit w/my legs crossed (like now for instance...) has anything to do w/it, but I doubt it!

If you go by the logic that psychological action can have physiological effects (ie, healing in a dream) then maybe the opposite would hold true.

Personally, I never worry about what I consume, unless it's going to be some mysterious drug or something. I'm not a calorie/carb-counter, I eat what I like when I like, and I never think twice about it. I also rarely get sick, I'm not overweight, my hair and teeth aren't falling out or anything... Sometimes people who stress about health TOO much are the ones who get ill the most often.

I dunno, I have no scientific proof, so don't go getting trashed at the pub every night and expect your liver to be all happy happy joy joy. But as an anecdote, there was a scientist (I'll add his name in an edit when I remember it) who did some work with cancer patients. The ones who did healing visualizations actually lived about twice as long as the expected national average for their state.

Man, I wish I could remember that guy's name. Otherwise it sounds like nonsense.

      Strangers passing in the street
By chance two separate glances meet
And I am you and what I see is me.
