      Validating A Dream As Real

      Can it be done?

From the context that life is transient and dreams are supertransient if the line between dreaming and reality is not merged than you're wasting much of your time trying to figure out whether to dream or not to dream. I say it can be validated that all dreams have an element of reality in them. The purer ones consciousness, the closing of the gap between life and dream life becomes possible. This may not be surprising but when a dream is manifesting your reality or your reality is manifesting your dream it's purely a matter of not "is it real?" but was it born out of love? If a dream is born from love you can count on it being real, at least to you, experientially in consciousness. It would make life whole on every level if you can validate just one dream as real. Just once is enough to show you your whole life. Then you can be safe to dream once again as your inner child does every night. Not that it cannot be an "adult dream" but it has the quality of the inner child in it. Wonderful.

What defines real? Something you can touch? See? Hear? Smell? Taste? If something is called "real" because it stimulates all 5 senses (and possibly others,) then why aren't dreams viewed as "real" by so many people? Some of the most realistic experiences I've had were in dreams!

Dreams are as real as you believe them to be. They do not affect other people, but often neither do your thoughts or actions out of their premises. It's illogical to argue otherwise. There is no means to prove it otherwise, neither wrong nor right. It is something that cannot be falsified therefore is beyond the scientific method or scientific interest, scientifically anyone worth their salt (speaking in scientific terms) could not and would not claim otherwise. If your dream is real to you, it is real.

I've asked people in my dreams for some guidance on this and the one time I got a response that kind of blew me away he said " well, they still have value anyways right?" I woke up thinking about that and had to agree, yeah they definitely have value whether I can prove they are "real" or not.
