Hey everyone

I had a dream about a school shooting.. I was a student at the school and this female student had like an uzi and was outside the front doors and was shooting at other students going into the building....Now before That happened I was inside the building trying to warn people of the school shooting but no one believed me or it seem'd like they werent getting the message... After I saw the student with the uzi I ended up coming up from behind her and grabbing the gun and she tried shooting me but I had her arm pointed to the sky so she was just shooting the ceiling... Later in the dream a helicopter was on campus and people were sliding down ropes from the copter to the ground, and i could see an american flag..

I later woke up and went to the dentist then straight to work.. I find out on the news after about 30mins of being at work there was a school shooting at VIR tech..

Now the strange thing is..Is i dont think about school shootings at all.. The strange thing is this..

I have been watching the news pretty much all day about this school shooting..even though my dream doesnt really MATCH exactly what took place.. somethings made me think... They said that it took almost 2 hours for people to even get emails that their was a gunmen on campus and that there was a shooting... In my dream I tried to warn people of the shooting but they either ignored me or didnt believe me.. I even remember going to try to tell others about it, but then was like, nevermind forget it.. The news even stated that there were American Cross people on the scene.. I believe that the helicopter in my dream represented the American Cross coming to help out..

I've had dreams like this plenty of times but with different situations.. I dated this girl before and I had a dream that we were talking on the phone and during that time i heard cop sirens on her end of the line.. I wake up..no more then 20 seconds later she calls and during our conversation i hear cop sirens on her end of the line... Dont think its a big deal..well, she was half way across the country at the time visiting family...

I know i maybe making a big deal about nothing, but i thought i would share with you my dream and how odd it seems.. i mean what are the chances of having a dream about a school shooting that have some bitz and pieces representing what actually took place?
