      Sleepwalking...

I'm just wondering... Does anyone here sleepwalk? I used to a lot when I was younger, but I haven't for about a year or so. I remember the last time I did I walked into my parents room, asked "Do you happen to know the time?", then walked back to my room without waiting for an answer. I then drank from two glasses which were both completely empty, then went back in my bed and went back to sleep.

Anywho it's a weird experience... I don't remember anything, although I think that when I drank the empty cups I dreamt I was really thirsty and thought I was drinking a coke float. How can our bodies be moving around when we are in REM? Anyone else they have an experience they want to share?

Had a cousin that sleepwalked. When they went on vacation, they would have to use door motion alarms.

Didn't want her walking out onto the balcony on the 11th floor some night.

Heh the only thing for me that comes close is when I was like 8 and sleeping over at a cousin, and I sat up, banged my head pretty hard against the wall, moaned and went back to sleep.

      I've been ever since.

Yeah... I think I read somewhere that people usually sleepwalk as children, then grow out of it once they are older.

But has anyone seen shows on people who are like, possessed or something when they sleepwalk? This one show had cameras set up in this guy's bedroom, and he got up in the middle of the night, screamed like he was some sort of animal, and punched right through a wall. His wife would sleep in a different room with a deadbolt and a barricaded door. That's pretty freaky.... I wonder what causes it?

I used to do it. Has anyone ever called someone in their sleep? Apparently I called my boyfriend in my sleep. He called back saying I had just called, and the number was on the CID. I was like "Uh, no. You just woke me up."

Ive never sleepwalked but my twin sister did when we were younger and apparently walked into my room trying to hit me! We didnt get on at all! this is what my parents said, they had to stop her apparently, they must have heard something but I reckon theyre probably exagerrating. I think its because sleep paralysis hasnt fully kicked in as thats what its there for isnt it, to stop us physically acting out our dreams?

I done some pretty stupid things while sleep walking...

But I can agree that sleepwalking is generally a young people thing. Many of my friends used to sleepwalk but don't now, like me.

I use to walk in my sleep all the time. My mom caught me trying to leave the house down some very steep steps more than once when I was young. Since I have been older it has happened a lot less. At least That I know of..lol. I do talk in my sleep though. I have screamed in my sleep lot's. I have Grabbed my poor puppy dog when he was little and held him up by his legs threatning to kill him. Poor baby. My husband could barely get me to let go of him. I still sit up and move around in bed quite a bit.
My biological mother use to eat in her sleep. She could eat a whole pie and not remember it at all. My 8 year old walks in her sleep too.
