      well -

I don't know that time has anything to with anything really.
I mean, you could say that because I am in the present dreaming about the future, that time has some part to play in all of it.
BUT - time is also something humans created. It is a tool, a form of measurement, a way of communicating. It's possible, then, that our understanding of our own construct - time - is flawed or what we are talking about is bigger than time itself.
And who says time is linear anyway? If time is cyclical or circular than time can travel anyway it deems worthy.
But, I don't think I need to define which way time travels in order to know that these experiences really happened - that's what I am trying to say. Despite what I think about time, I am still having these dreams.

When responding to a person's topic please consider if what you're saying is really beneficial to others; often times we like to simply give feedback to users in regards to their posts, so if doing so, try to elaborate on your point instead of posting a couple of words. The basic reason for this rule is that all of us use this forum and many of us like to stay on top of the new posts as they come in. If there's a great influx of essentially empty posts it's very frustrating to sift through them to find the pertinent information; guests and outside users will also find this annoying because ultimately this place is supposed to be a useful repository for lucid dreaming information.

      hmmm . . . it is interesting to me . . .

What is interesting to me is that people who put themselves on pedestals will often find themselves victim to gravity.

And I had a dream like this once . . . at least it reminds me a good deal of this situation. Some people tried to put me in a little box because I was trying to do the "right thing" . . . whatever that was in the context of the dream. Little did those people know, though, I had a tiny little chisel and a tiny little hammer.

The box is no more . . . at least in my dream world.

The worst ive ever had was when i had a Deja-vu of a Deja-vu of a Deja-vu, or maybe it was one really long deja vu, i just remember i was riding in the car tripping because ive seen all of it before

I've rarely seen something in a dream that's happened in real life but i do get this thing all the time where i'll be talking about a film or something like that with my friends, and then a few weeks later, the film will be on TV. This may seem relatively insignificant and i'm sure most of you will be thinking things like "he'll have just seen an advert for it" but i'm talking about instances where we got onto the topic of the film in a very random and barely related way. Plus this will happen a before adverts will have been shown and i won't remember it until i see the film is on TV soon and i'll think "wow, we were talking about that not long ago".

This would usually be seen as a very common and coincidental thing but it happens to me ALL THE TIME, and it's not just films, it could be something to do with a book, food, lots of everyday things like that, another example is if we were talking about a type of food none of us have had for ages and then i have it for dinner the next week. I used to think of it as just coincidence but it happens far too often for me to dismiss it as that now. It is occasionaly linked with dreams (i.e. i dream about a film and then it is shown on TV within a month) but not as often. Just thought i'd share that with you, as i'm new to the forums and lucid dreaming and i found this topic really interesting.

PS: I'm writing this at 4:30 in the morning so please forgive any grammar/spelling mistakes and/or lack of sense, thankyou.
