      I made a mistake

One night as I drifted off to sleep I had my headphones on listening to a death metal band. That was a bad mistake for me because music of any kind affects my dream-state but death metal... sheesh.. i should have known better.
Well that night as I fell asleep i felt myself become sleep paralyzed again, (which happens far too often for me). At some point i felt a heavy evil presence in my room.. I could not open my eyes nor move but I was conscious to know what was going on. This was a perfect chance to LD but i was to afraid to try anything. Then I felt my bed move as if someone was getting into it beside me. At the time I was sleeping on my side facing the opposite direction and felt someones arm come around me. I knew it was that evil presence laying behind me and in a horrible whisper it said "I still have you.."
I awoke immediately after it said that but even awake i could not shake the feeling of evil. I said a quick prayer and fell back to sleep with no further problems.. Of course i blame the music i was listening to for this "nightmare" but it was a good opportunity to LD and possibly confront this "demon" of dreams.. I often wondered what would it have been like to have faced that evil presence eventhough I felt somewhat responsible for bringing it to my mind through the music i was listening to...

      Any thoughts on this??

i don't blame the music you were listening to. although sometimes this could be passed off as nothing, it could be important. if it was important, it could be relating to the other dream you told us about. You still could be suffering from something that you do, something you might know is wrong, but still do, and that could be what "still has you". or it could just be random crap, lol

      JAMMING OUT

Possibly so.. I think your right though about it being linked to that past dream. I believe there is always going to be that struggle carried on from that night of the first dreamvision.
I would even go so far as to say I will more than likely have this battle for the rest of my life here. I actually see no end to it..

well, just have faith, that no matter what battle carries through your life, God is in control, and can carry you through it. This is clearly a turning point in your life, and you can go down whichever path seems fit, but know the effects of both.

      Agree.

I agree. No matter what God will watch over you. Pray and be faithful.

      Strange dreams

I think that the type of music can influence dreams somewhat. I can imagine if you had some sort of brain wave monitor hooked up to your head while you slept and did the expierement from listening to different types of music you could see how they'd affect ones sleep.
I would even dare to say that some music or artists can bring in evil presences especially while you sleep, but this is just personal belief from what I've expierienced.

      Could be true.

Definitly, you could be recieveing somthing from them/their past or it could just be the music itself. Not the best thing to do when sleeping!

Well I think most of us can say with some certainty that music contains many "unseen" things. We have all heard about subliminal messages contained in songs or that some group practiced satanic beliefs or even that songs carry with it a negative energy with it. I think that during sleep your mind is more subseptable to these things and whatever they bring with it. Music is very influential so it stands to reason it could certainly affect dreams.
      Or so I would think.
