      Can you hear this?

I spotted long time ago, that all of time I hear some very high frequency noise. It is so high frequency, that your ears can't hear. Plus, it changes pitch from time to time. Try to calm down, and try, can you hear it.

What it can this "brain noise" be?

I hate it when no one hears that TV buzz! Me and my Dad both hear that high frequency buzz made by alot diffirent electronics. In school I have to go up and turn off the TV because the teachers just left the TV on. It drives you insane if your bored during a lecture.

As a kid I could normally tell when people were watching TV in their houses while standing outside because of that TV noise. Yeah it sucks...

It has to do with how much television you watch, eventually you become accustomed to the frequency- if you watch a fair amount of television, and then don't for several days- weeks even months, the sound will become much more apparent.

I hear high pitched noises, sometimes it the TV, but on some nights when I lay down I hear them. My explanation is a little different. I believe one has multiple bodies, and they all vibrate at different frequencies. During night time, they activate and leave the physical body. The ringing is a subtle body, or bodies, increasing their rate of vibration, preparing to leave the body.

They start leaving when you have been relaxed for a while. After the high pitched ringing, you will start feeling the vibrations tingling in your stomach or chest. Stay calm and take deep breaths to do that...They you will pop right out of body, it's fun and exciting.

It could be your ears, or it could be electronics

My brother hears TVs, and gets annoyed if Ihave it on and am not watching it

I don't normally hear the tv, but I have been sitting on my bed, and been able to tell whether the TV is on or not (when it is on standby, and I can't see the red light)

I have been away for a while and am catching up on all the threads.
This one sounds to me like Tinnitus. Many people will experience this sometime in their lives. Here is a link to read up on it..

Sometimes I'm just lying down in bed when all of a sudden, BEEEEEEP! Very loud, and very annoying. Most of the time it's quiet, though, if I hear it.

If I'm meditating I like to use that noise to focus on and keep me centerd on the moment. I like to imagine that it is a high pitch vibration filling me with NRG.

If you hear the high-pitch frequency constantly, it might be a condition called TINNITUS, in which you internal ears are damaged (probably due to being over-exposed to very loud noise for a very long time).
i've been diagnosed with Tinnitus for more than 5 years now, but now i got totally used to it.

The problem is, when i become lucid in my dreams, i instantly start to hear that high-pitched frequency, and wake up a minutes after. I need to train myself to ignore the sound, just like i did in real life.
