      Precognitive Dreams, Impending Doom?

      This is like, operation impending doom.

      I've noticed, that while it happens very rarely, I get precognitive dreams that are usually of situations that do not have any great bearing on my life, but they do have a de ja vu feeling.

      Does anyone else ever have these meaningless precog dreams? Like situational dreams that you recall just before they actually happen in real life. Like remembering a dream you had a few weeks ago about, say, your wallet going missing AND you losing your toothbrush, and then it happens? Nothing terribly life altering, but something that you just couldn't chock up to coincidence?

      I'm interested in hearing and situations this might have happened with anyone, but please, don't post here if the dreams area purely meaning based (You dreamed you had a spiritual/mental revelation, then you did)

      I love you honey. ::

      I have many dreams like this and I hate when this happens. And it's not just small things. When my cousin got a baby I knew it because I dreamed about it and I took it as a reality and wasn't surprised at all when my father told me. Yeah, sometimes I look cold blooded because of that. Deja vu?

      My last dream like this was a small thing...I dreamed about going somewhere in Prague by metro and then by bus. I got to a mall went up the stairs and found some arcades and there was ITG machine. Well nothing special...I have many dreams where there is ME and ITG machine but the problem is that....ehm the day after one friend of my told me that there is probably that machine somewhere at a new mall somewhere in the middle of prague. where you have to get by metro and bus. I ignore that...I told that to my BF but I didn't actually care about it much. Several days later it the location was confirmed. so? deja vu?

      The dreams which were more important were like...I dreamed about being in a different school where no one spoke the language I speak. I was there with a girl who I knew and considered as a friend. I had more dreams about this girl and me...I said to myself what a nonsense..nothing will change in my life. Two weeks later my father got a proposal to go working to Belgium. I said I will go there...but I know that what I dreamed would come true...I knew that saying no wouldn't change anything.

      Sorry for a long post. but I want to say one thing with it. Because...there aren't many people who think that "telling the future" is possible. But it happens to me all the time and some people known for their special abilities like this told me that I have this kind of ability (and healing also). It always bothers my mind...but I know that I'm not the only one. But still my dreams are sometimes quite important...I last time when I got a procognitive dream I decided to chage the things. (it was a dream where my BF was here in belgium sitting next to me and speaking about space channel "whatever it was". actually he wanted that game and wanted it to download it on my computer. in the dream...in that dream I said I would do it). In reality when the first sentence from the dream came up I got in some kind of trance or something..and I tried to say no and I finally managed that...but in the end I ended up downloading that space channel 5 anyway.

      Now I'm waiting for another dreams like this to try to alternate them.

      once i dreamt the hour and minute it would have started to rain
      it was a falske awakenig, i "woke up" to go to the park with my friends, but decided not to do so because the weather was bad promising. Then it started to rain and the clock said it was 14.43 or something.

      then really woke up, went to the park, told the story to my friends and went back home before getting wet (to see i aproximately guessed the minute)

      quite sure it was a coincidence, i only think it suits your topic because, well, getting wet in a summer afternoon never killed anybody, and it's quite a silly warning to waste a dream on it

      This happens constantly to me. The last time that really sticks in my mind was about 10 days ago.

      I feed birds on my backporch. I'm trying to expand my very limited knowledge of bird calls and species identification. I don't see new species on my porch very often, but I really want to. It's exciting to me. I haven't seen a new species in probably 2-3 months.

      Well, one morning, I dreamed that a new species told me it was going to show up on my back porch and little while later, after I got up and was looking out the window, there it was.

      I have dreams like this regarding nature often. I also grow things, lots and and lots of things. I dream of the plants sometimes. One is drying of thrist; one is infested. Oh, oh, the coolest one of those was a plant that looked totally dead and I was planning to throw it out. I talk to plants, so I probably told it I was going to throw it out soon. Well, sure enough that night, I dreamed of the plant and the plant told me, "Don't throw me out. In about 6 weeks, I'll have new leaves and I will be looking fine." So, I gave it six weeks and sure enough, it looked great. I truly thought it was dead. It was a mandavilla. I still have it. But I love the ones about birds and other natural things--like the rain. That is so beautiful.

      And I have the goofy little why did I dream this dumb stuff that happens soon--all the time also. And it is annoying, because you'd think you would dream something more important if you are going to have this gift or skill or whatever it is.
