What's that card trick thing? I have tried remote viewing with a friend, and it wasn't very accurate but I did get some things. Anyway I'd like to try this sometime when I start getting LD's again (dry spell )

The card trick is easy to setup but perhaps not easy to accomplish. Take a set of playing cards and pull one from the deck, dont look at it. Place it high up on a shelf FACE UP. Next time your are lucid, see if you can project to your room where the card is and indentify which card you picked. When you wake up, check your results.

When I attempted this I was able to project to my room but it was like a copy of my room, things were different, the cabinet where I placed the card wasnt the same, and I couldnt focus on the card. It was much harder than I thought.

Wow sounds like a good experiment. I'll have to try it sometime when I get more proficient at lucid dreaming

There are two ways of broadly viewing the results of these
studies. First of all, we have the summary of Karlis Osis,
Director of Research at the American Society for Psychical
Research (A.S.P.R.). This society, in an effort to produce
evidence for survival of death, undertook an extensive
investigation of OBE perception. [13] In the course of this
study, approximately 100 subjects, all of whom believed they
were proficient in inducing OBEs and possessed paranormal
perceptual abilities during these OBEs, were tested under
controlled conditions. While confined to one room at the
A.S.P.R., the subjects induced OBEs and "visited" a distant
target room, attempting afterwards to describe in detail what
they had "seen" while there. A comparison of their reports
with the actual contents of the target room revealed, in all
but a few cases, absolutely no indication of any
correspondence whatsoever. In other words, in the great
majority of these cases, there was no evidence supporting
accurate OBE perception, nor for the validity of the
subjects' convictions that they had actually left their
bodies. Moreover, these subjects were described by Osis as
being "the creme of the claimants" of OBE. I believe the
results of this study strongly supports the "OBE as
misinterpreted lucid dream" interpretation offered above.

So they try and test what we see in different planes of existance that vary based on thought? (your conscience) Right... I think the only way to really validate it is to try and have an Etheric Projection at the same time as someone else, meet up, talk about something, and then discuss it with them after waking up. Me and my brother will be trying this soon.

Science can't prove it yet, but it can't disprove it either.

All I can say is the Etheric Projection I had yesterday felt nothing like a LD.

I kinda think of remote viewing from lucids as "dream telepathy." Or dream viewing.
I've had OOBE's that were incredible, not sure what they were though really.

Hey when we die we lose a little bit of weight that supposedly is our soul ore something like that. So when in an OBE your soul leaves your body right? If it is that way maybe in an OBE you should lose some weight as well because your soul leaves ur body

I dont remember loosing weight but it's a nice thought. Could you see an infomercial on that subject?
