My theory on this is that in between our waking world and our dream world, there is a plane were we can *sense* other peoples dreams, and enter them. If I ever get lucid I'm going to try and find a doorway into that plane, but I think you can only find one if you already know where it is. Like in a dream I had last night I was being chased by aliens and I *knew* that there was a dirty old shoelace in this house that would make me invisible if In tied it around my leg. It worked but I didnt get away cuz the aliens had heat vision
I had a strange dream last night...

Im very open minded but intruding into others dreams seems quite wrong and could have implications if your not careful.

One of the things i like to do is 'call forth' people and usually they appear.....i'd never thought of asking them about their dreams - the other thing i thought about - which might be against ethics - is remembering to ask them about anything you are interested about them - not too personal - they actually might remember the dream adn ask you about it if they know u are a lucid dreamer -- but maybe if you don't want to confrunt the person in real life - do it in a dream....or ask someone if they like you -- another thing i've tried to to tell the person over and over - to make the non-LDer lucid, is to tell them they are lucid, lucid, lucid, "remember this dream when you awake when you see me you will remmeber - or just freak them out and tell them that you actually pulled them out of a dream by calling them and exactly the converstaion you had

for example - and this would probably scare the crap out of me if someone did this to me but: say u become lucid - call forth a person and they'll remember it because it's teh last dream of the night - and you have a long conversation - lets say about how you can do 'this' to people in dreams - be in teh same dream basically...- you keep telling the person to remember it after telling them that they are asleep and taht they are dreaming because otherwise u/i wouldn't be able to do (__________). -- I like making other dreams lucid...esp. people u'll see the next morning.......when you tell them about how you made them 'come forth' and tell them they were aseleep --- it is one of the scariest things but coolest at that same time.......

the downfall is that if you do creap them out this way, they'll remember it the next time you maybe ask them a personal question in a dream and they actually remember teh draem and the fact taht u r a lucid dreamer....but that is up to you....

"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

Speaking of George Bush - i've done what i said above a few times...and i need to do it a few more to be sure taht you can....- i'm 85% sure you can based on my vast experience and stories i've heard about it....but i actually had one dream where i and another LDer were in teh same dream and everything to teh last detail....and called forth people....

Bring him forth in a dream and ask him -- what's wrong with you? -- you know what i mean and if you are a bush fan (20% approval now?) then i'm sorry i offended you...

I guess i'm confused because all of you think it's imposible but i've done this a few times - i just have to get the person to remember the draem in teh morning, which is tricky.........it's almost making me doubt myself but i do know that it IS POSSIBLE!

shared dreams are complex things, yesterday i had the most vivid lucid dream to date, it ruled, but i chose not to try calling forth people because before i shared this world with others i wanted to explore it a bit more...a few more lucid dreams then i will focus on shared dreams...

      Question

      This topic looks pretty full-on!

It stuff scares me, I mean, this might be revealing a new dimension to reality! After all that, it looks like you have revealed some kind of pathway into one another's fantasy. Could sharing dreams be done easily if you are closer to that person (sleeping, in reality)? I would have never thought that brainwaves can travel far and be strong at the same time (if that's what's involved)! For example, lot of the time you can be thinking of something near someone, and then they might suddenly start a convosation about it. Same thing?

Oh, and is there a link somewhere betweem OBE's/astral travels and Lucid dreams?

this post is a long time overdue but i am finally ready to go back to shared dreaming, and i have been thinkng alot about my experiences and here is the only way that i know of to have a successful shared dream....

basically become lucid.. and then focus on the task of lucid dreaming, you have to be in a deep form of sleep or lucidity to work, meaning that there is little or no chance of you waking up soon...ok now with me i just focussed on the task of shared dreaming and then i found myself scrolling through a list of nearly everyone i have ever known...this probabaly can be done manually but with me it happened automatically.

next let your senses guide you to the person who has the strongest connection to the "dream world" with me i scrolled through it by seeing a hologram of the person in a form of an identity card, and the cards stopped on some ramdon person... this person has the strongest connection...

Here you have a choice to do many different things, such as enter their dream or pull them into yours or even pull them into another dreamscape which is some sort of combination of both of your dreams...

the problem with pulling people out of dreams is that it can lead to a confusing and disorientating experience... the person who i dragged into my dream had his dream of driving a red Ferrari on a race track abruptly ended by being thrown into my dream...

Now i will tell you how to drag them into your dream....

first you get a "lock" on them and you imagine them being near you, if you are strong enough to pull them out of their dream and into yours then that connection will happen now...this will not work if the other person is already lucid and unwilling for it to work, and in that case the dream should be instantly aborted. For me i saw him in the distance and i also felt his presense, he also remembers seeing me, but not clearly or upclose, unfortunately the dream quickly ended so we were not able to properly communicate...

now for the dreamscape which you should attempt to shared dream in, i recomend a white room which is white for as ar as the eye can see... this is not difficult for your mind to create and changes can easily be made by you or the other lucid dreamer...

i feel that it is my duty to write a safety warning in this post, so here it is...

WARNING: SHARED DREAMING HAS NOT BEEN TESTED UP TO A LARGE EXTENT AND THERE ARE MANY RISKS INVOVLED WITH IT, SO BY READING THIS POST YOU CONFIRM THAT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DANGERS THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE ATTEMPTING/SUCCEEDING TO SHARED DREAM...

odds are nothing will go wrong but attempt it at your own risk, their is still no proof that it is entirely safe...

wow, long overdue post indeed. Interesting though. I think an experiment using the most powerful lucid dreamers here is in order!

C'mon, go into detail. Why exactly would it be dangerous and how in the world could you die from it?
How did you get injured? I'm just curious.
