one of my next goals in dreaming is to break past the dreaming mind to the super subconscious to the fact that my body actually belives to an extent that what is happening in the dream is real. an example would be pain, wounds and such like if i cut my finger that my body would actually manifest a wound mark.

there is only one thing of this that i fear and that is death. if it is possible to break the barrier then what would keep me from causing life threatening damage?

the benifits of it though are limitless.

you can't do that on the internet!.... wait yes you can do it again!

Reaching that state of mind is an accomplishment in itself.

But then you must ask yourself, how do you reach that state of mind in the first place?

Alright. And I was thinking, instead of imagining cuts in such a way to make them real, why not attempt at trying to grow something new? Wings, maybe? Your accomplishing the same thing with physical altercations, I just figure that one would be more interresting than the other.

This is also touching onto the ideology of shapeshifting. There are African Shaman who claim to be able to accomplish such a thing, but we're so cut off from Africa that you can't simply dismiss it as being a load of crap. You never know. I believe its possible... Not probable, but possible.

I think the way to do that is to start small...have someone write some numbers on a piece of paper and not let you see them, then have that paper laid face up somewhere in your house before you go to bed, say the dining table, still do not look at it. Once lucidity or obe is achieved (dependeing on what your trying to do) go read and memorize these numbers and see if you can bring them back with you in your conscoiusness upon your awakening and compare the numbers you brought back to the numbers on the page...this is the most common obe test and is rarely acheiveable. One man was able to recall seeing munbers but never able to remember them once awake...he did however once get six of seven numbers all correct and in order.

Go for it, let me know how you do. As far as the concern of hurting yourself (i'm going to be referencing obe's) most people recall seeing a silvery cord attaching their non-corporeal selves to their pysical and from what i understand, the slightest hesitation can snap you back into your phisical selves so it seems to me there is a fail safe button to help out if any nasties or thingies happen that you don't want.

      Good exporing to you
