So, I don't know if it's worth mentioning yet, being that it's only happened twice lately. But I've been having, well, not so great dreams for a while. I've kinda lost my lucid ability, it would appear my subconscious doesn't like me and won't let me do half these things and I'm not strong enough to beat anyone.

But anyway, there's been this "force" coming after me in 2 recent dreams. 1 time I was riding motorcycles with a friend or something, and this thing had been coming up from behind out of nowhere in a flash and stabbing people through the back of the head. Well, I saw that and I was like "screw it, I'm out of here!" and woke up.

The weirder one though was last night. I was again with someone, a friend I guess, and there were 2 guys and a girl wanting to do something kind of sinister to us. Well, I had had enough of it all and got mad (kinda lucid too), and cold-cocked the one guy, told the girl to stay where she was cause she had my friend, went and beat the other guy. Turned around, grabbed the girl by the throat, and started to say, "Of all the bitches that have come into my world, and tried to fuck it up... (next thing I was going to say was "you're the worst")" but I didn't get to finish. The girl I was choking, said "Aaron, turn around", or, "Aaron, behind you." I barely got to turn and I had been stabbed in the neck by some kind of force with, best description, an energy blade.

After waking, I feel it was the same force as before. What is going on here?
"Doggin' on others, has become my profession... since you blew the lights out in my heart."

I have a problem that is sort of like yours.

Every now and then during my LDs I will come across a man who is a complete stranger to me (other than he is in my dreams from time to time). I can't sense him or let alone know he is there. He is always upto no good and is always out to get me. But every time I find him he runs like a coward and I can't ever catch him. If I come up with a way to defeat him I'll let you know and maybe it will help you.

Any adversary you come across in a lucid dream you have the ability to confront that DC (dream character.) It is manifested by you. If you confront it, I suggest to just ask the DC what it wants. Being nice to DCs seem to be more effective as a whole than gunning them down as many people will do.

      I realize this sounds funny.
Let me put some substance behind what I said.
"HE" is trying to kill me. Who is he? He is not a true life individual.
This may depend on your beliefs. As some people believe that a dream character is possibly an enthral being or religiously sent, I think that it is derived from the constructs of our own mind.
You manifest what your dream content is. So if that is the case then usually a person or thing in you dream that is bad reflects an inner thought that you have and is coming through in your dreams. Possibly in an abstract way and through a dream character.
So to fight the adversary in your dream all you are doing is fighting yourself. Buy confronting the DC or trying to interact with it, you may be able to get to the root source of your inner issue that your psyche is trying to present to you.

I had a stint of lucid dreams where I had strong, vivid lucidity. The issue was I could mot get out of the two acres I live at in the dream. There was always some obstacle of some kind. Sometimes a DC would try to prevent me and other times it may have been the landscape.
This naturally aggravated me and I would use force to try and overcome a rabid dog or a bunch of lizards. But once you realize that it is a conceived by your own mind then you can perceive a Dc just as you would a monster, dog, or anything else. So the He in your dream could next time appear in the form of an eagle attacking you. But they are one in the same.
Once I confronted just One of these obstacles the restraints were lifted and I could freely fly around as I wished.

But there's a catch. Sometimes you can try to fight someone off and can't, despite the fact that you actually know that it's all imagination and you know that you're akin to god in your dreams... How come?
I advise you to try fighting, and if you still can't fight the thing off, just wake up. It will soon become an automatic reaction, and you'll be waking up quickly, even before you decide to do so. The reason for such an advise is simple: science hasn't investigated dream matters even remotely well yet, it can't be trusted at this point, and some time ago we even thought that Earth was flat. So - just in case - it's best to wake up if you aren't a hundred percent sure that 'the force' is imagined.
But in all honesty, I think that it'll turn out to be imagination in this case. The 'force' was attacking the other dream characters in your first dream, and I doubt that any force would be interested in attacking dream characters .
      [/b]

That is a good point Follower.
I had never mentioned the idea of waking yourself up.
If it is recurring I would guess sooner or later you should deal with the issue ,but I have more than once awaken myself to get out of a predicament.
      Glad you brought that up!

mabye this 'force' represents something in your life that your going to have to do and no matter how hard you try to stop or escape it you will have to do it.

is life a predetemined path, do we control our own destiny's or is there something out there greater than all of us? perhaps dreams are insight into our minds, perhaps they are random thoughts, it keeps me up at night.

Wow, good topic. So a DC in your dream could just be a problem that you are dealing with in your current life, and you must find a way to, reason with it, or come to terms of some kind maybe?...
