      hello.
this entry may be hard to understand.

the start of this year my Best friend changed schools. then i had to find new friends. well ever since then i have a recuring dream. i have a sword, and see a group of people stand infront of me, they call themselves the allomoras. they are as fast as lightning. they keep saying, chanting mor "youve lost him, youve lost the battle" so we fight, i have my own little group behind me, the sand arms. we fight, i got got hit in the arm once, with a staff (in the dream), woke up the next morning with a bruise on my arm.
how is this possible. so since then my dream has been me, and the ssand arms planning to destroy the allomoras, but i seen to always have recollection of this dream. is it real or is it just my mind

it happens sometimes to feel actual pain when hurt in a dream. the reasons are two:
      1) your brain "remembers " it and expects it
      2) you dreamt do be hurt because something really hurts (for any reason) and during the sleep the pain interfered with your dream, that built a "story" around it.

there has been a period in my life when i dreamt very often to fight - (and was a very poor fighter i have to admit). Once i did even woke up ill from a dream in which a DC almost killed me.
But there's nothing "real". Nothing "magic".

i'm sorry for you losing your best friend. i know what it's like.
i lost all of my friends (for my fault), and i even have to see the one that i used to call my best friend every f***ing day at university. and i'm quite sure that i'll never "find new friends" as you say. i'm even starting to think that the day i'll understand the deep meening of that "never" i'll finally stop surviving, but this is really not the point.

dreams of battle are fascinating and universal - reading through the DJ section you'll read a lot of action-movie stuff.
universal is also the tendence to believe them true.

(doesn't "allomora" come from some fantasy books? don't sound new.)

My sister listens to the Harry Potter books on CD when we go on road trips. "allamora" is a spell used to cast Light when you have no other light around you. Like a flashlight, only it's magical/connected to you by your wand and heart.

Just thought I'd poke that in I'm not good at interpretations, but I think the fact that they were called "light" (allamora) means something...? :yumdumdoodledum:

actually, the harry potter term is ALLOHAMORA which is a spell to open locked doors.

but this dream, before my friend left i had a idea in my mind about an evil "clan" of hooded, well iguess "beasts" who hunt those less fortunate. but it is when my friend left, i had a dream about them. if i could show you a picture of how the look, i would. i would have to draw it, but that wouldnt be a problem... if you have seen TEEN TITANS (thanks to my little brother) they wear cloaks like that and you cannot see there face.

      Yep that's right

Alohomora - From Hawaiian "Aloha" which means "hello/farewell" and Latin "mora" which means "obstacle". This spell is used to open a locked door or window. While it will not unlock all magically sealed doors, it works well against "Colloportus."

Lumos - "Lumen" is Latin for light. "Luminosus" is Latin for "bright". Produces light from the end of the caster's wand.

Sorry, didn't mean to take over your thread...
I just saw the words "Harry Potter" and "alohomora" and I couldn't contain myself...
