Hey, this is my first post, just found this site. Been Lucid since I was alittle kid, have off/on sleep disorders because of it....But I have to share what happened last night and see what you think it is?

OK, So I couldn't sleep last night, tossing and turning until 3:00am and I had to work this morning, so It was alittle frustrating. TV usually helps me fall asleep, so I end up in the living room watching a South Park re-run. I fell asleep in the chair with the lamp on to the right of me, I knew it was bothering me as I was going to sleep, but didn't turn it off, too tired... So I had some dreams I don't remember, which lead to me being in my living room in my dream, with some dream character. (Still in dream) I got up to shut this lamp off, right when I touched it my whole body jolted and I fell back, felt like I was zapped by the lamp. Then I woke up, I was really on the floor, staring at the lamp, and fear.. I was terrified and I didn't know why, I didn't know if I really was zapped or what?!?!...I didn't even shut it off, it was now 6:00am, I just went to bed..

Never had anything happen like this before, usually if I go to sleep this late I will have an W.I.L.D. But this was just crazy...

Hmm...Is it a metallic lamp or w/e? Check it for finger prints

Also, maybe you touched the hot part of the lamp by accident? You were obviously sleep walking or something.

Zapped by the lamp! You probably touched the hot part of the light.
