Well, i'll be honest, I can never get up to eat breakfast on weekdays. I woke up at 6:20 AM with my intent on eating breakfast in the morning. I was really tired, so I layed back down and rested my eyes. I was thinking about getting up and getting breakfast. So i opened my eyes with the intent on going downstairs and eating, but it somehow was 6:54 AM. I was too late. This made me upset. I ended up getting some breakfast to-go from my school cafeteria. This is quite odd of this to happen.

yeah. I think it's called sleeping....

It makes time seem like it's going by really fast!

Ahem...not exactly. I was still thinking in my head and everything when I saw it was 6:20 AM. Then somehow after I thought WHEN I thought it was 6:20 still, I had the intent of going downstairs and getting breakfast. Not a normal sleep or drifting for me, since I still remembered my intent.

Yeah, something like this happens to me quite often. Time seems to go by fast. On the weekdays, I set my alarm to 6:40 AM and get awakened by the beeping. I turn it off and wait. It seems as if only about five minutes passes, and then I look at the clock and it reads sometime around 7:10. I should use the snooze button....

This exact thing happened to me yesterday. I woke up and was laying there trying to recall my dreams. It usually takes me around 5 minutes to do this, and i find it fun. Well when i finished almost 40 minutes had gone by and i missed going to school that day. It happens.

Hmmm... It's compleatly the opposite for me, my alarm beeps, I press the snooze button, then it seems as if 15 minutes passes, and then the 2nd beep comes (5 min).
The other stuff is, (becouse I don't sleep enough (6 hours)), I usually fell really easily to sleep on trams and busses, like it only takes me 2-3 min to drift off sleeping on a bus, and I'm usually half awake, and it feels as if an hour passed, when I arrive at my destination 15 minutes later...
Maybe I should sleep myself out in the nights....

This happens to me too IF i'm waiting for my alarm, but if my mind drifts it goes opposite ways.

this happens to me a few times, it made time go by really fast. I was about 10:00 and i was just lying there thinking with the TV on and i remember i closed and open my eyes, but it only felt like 2 mins, i looked at the clock it was 12:00.

I think its cause your body goes to sleep but your mind stays awake so its kind of like sleeping but ur thinking.

You just fell asleep, man. It happens to me all the time, in the middle of a train of thought.

There was an episode of House where they said that you don't remember falling asleep if you're only asleep for a few minutes, which is weird. That MIGHT be what happened to you, though you would have been asleep for awhile, so that's stretching it a bit...

Or maybe you had a lucid dream and the time on the clock changed! One can always hope, eh?
