Well I was reading about the abillity to manipulate time called chronokinesis. They even gave a method to achieve this:
Step One: First start by getting a pendulum or clock or something that makes a ticking sound once a second. Then in your know time get comfortable and relax.
Step Two: Now listen to the beats of the object. Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock. Then focus on this sound and listen for the spaces between the tick tock sound on the silence and blend your energy with the silence and realize that man is not governed by time. Time is simply a concept created by man.
Step Three: Now listen to the spaces between the beats, focus on the measure of silence getting slower and slower.
Step Four: Do this for several minutes and then if the beats are getting longer apart from the next one you've done it. Now just keep practicing and eventually you will get to where you don't need a pendulum or clock.[/b]
I'm skeptical because I think it just a memory trick, however I will try and see what happens. They say time doesn't exsist and it is your perceptions that make up time. Although bending time and being able to go to the future and the past sounds cool, also stopping time sounds cool. I really need to stop watching Heroes.

The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.
      7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.
does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.

i've heard something about this, it has something to do with the speed the mind works at. supposedly during heightened stress it'll fire faster this making time seem to slow down a bit... because you are actually thinking more in less time. a good example of this is seeing a car accident about to happen to you. you'll see it coming, and even be able to think up an 'oh shit', but most often wont be able to do too much in that little snip of bent time..... i dont think it's ment to go into the future or past... it's an exercise ment to let you go into bullet time... though i doubt anything could be so effective in this reality
'reality exists axactly as we believe it will, thus anything is possible'

Yeah, that's the short and skinny of it. My analogy is to imagine that you're overclocking your brain. As far as editing your natural clock speed, I imagine there are perfectly valid ways to go about doing it - exercises, hypnosis, things that don't necessitate "time magic" as you conceive of it.

      Check out:

I've been able to "stop" the second hand for up to what feels like a few seconds. Very strange feeling when you do it.

I was sitting in English class one day and we were arranged in a semi-circle and our teacher was giving us a lecture on Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." I was kinda half listening but then for some reason or another It appeared to me as if time had stopped. It got silent, my classmates all stopped fidgetting and moving. I was able to turn my head and look at the girl across from me in the circle and then time snapped back. I was wide awake and not falling asleep.
After the incident I looked up at the clock and nothing seemed out of the ordinary but when it happened it seemed like a good 5-10 seconds passed.

No idea what it was but It definetly was something.

      In relation to this subject,
Einstein believed strongly in the concept of Time being real and a correct human assumption/system.
He did say however that people experience the passing of time in totally different ways.
It can fly by for some while for others it can seem to last forever.

I think it is possible to stop and even reverse time. Now whether you can interact with time when it is reversed or fast-forwarded is the question.
