I need everyone's help on a research PROJECT

This idea might sound crazy, but I'm wondering if there are some out there who are willing to take on a project like this. The project means to focus energy into a object. The object would then be a aid for the dreamer. I kind of know the understanding behind it, but I do not fully know what we should do in order to have it with a person always. The object would be a tool to aid the dreamer. What do you think about this idea?

Sounds pretty neat, even if it would only be a placebo effect. I have a few easy-to-carry curios I could use for talismans (stones, pendants, and the like) so I'd be willing to give this a try.

I think we have allready tryed that. Every 3 days (if I remember correctly) someone was chosen and sent a certain dream sign which he chose. I believe the project died after a month or so. There were many people who took part in it, but you can never know how many people actually did anything. No this isn't a single focus on a object, but instead the dreamer creating a unique object. The idea is almost to create a AI that helps the dreamer on a personal level. A similar thought from it is when people try to take a object and use that in order to awaken them from a dream. Like say everytime they see that object in a dream they awaken into a lucid state. The object is more like that and it would be something to help each person within their own stages of dreaming. Basically our first step would be figuring out how to get a object to appear within a dream. The object itself would be different each person because we aren't trying to make it one type of object. Then the next step would be in having that object be able to interact with the dreamer kind of like a user would interact with a keyboard only on a thought base. If this step can be achieved then basically we could allow the device to help us go into lucid states a lot easier. Once the lucid state is very easy to achieve with the device then maybe the dreamer could try to teach the device other steps to help aid in. The device itself would be a tool for awakening.

I am having a few more dreams with the object, but it is still random. I am still experimenting with this, but what I did is I have taken a object from real life that has meaning to me. I'm trying to use that object to become part of my dream life. Each time I see that object I know it is related to dreaming and then can free myself from the normal dream. I've heard this method being used before and discribed as a way to wake people up into a lucid dream. It's basically a dream test that when you see the object makes you question about it being a dream. I believe this is the first step people need to try if anyone still wants to help with research. I think this can help others on the forum awaken into a lucid dream as well.

Another note I am sleeping with the object near me. The object I have picked for this test is one that I can sleep within. I picked the object because of that. If the relationship of the object has a physical location near me I felt the object would be more adapt to appearing in the dream. Keep in mind once the experiment is a success I can always change the object in the dream world. I just needed a physical object to represent the first steps of the project.

Aight AHiddenSaint, I will give you my aid on this easy task. OBJECTS IN DREAMS = SYMBOLISM First dreams interpretation books are so biased (and still are) because they will try to make you believe that a particular object summons the same impression for everyone. Example in books written in the early 1900's were suggesting that dreaming at a locomotive (a train) meant DEATH ! lol It can mean death for someone, but could also mean travelling for someone else. See my point? A particular object is irrevelant. If you want to summon LUCIDITY + AID, chose a SYMBOL that summons those 2 words, but no need to carry an object while u go sleep lol. Ill say a mental image is a Symbol and would bring the thought __________ Second The idea that his SYMBOL would bring LUCIDTY is VERY ACCURATE AND POSSIBLE. If everyone see's the object here, and we all know the meaning of it (AID+LUCIDITY) we will all connect to your idea and it WILL INDEED HELP PEOPLE TO GAIN LUCIDITY ALL OF A SUDDEN !!! They will be half conscious in their dream when suddenly they see your Symbol or Object, and they will do the easy deduction that will remind them to be Lucid. And they will be. Its very simple. This should work easily, once u found the object we spread the idea around the "Lucid forums" and it will help the trainee's to gain lucidity if they ever cross that image. So make it SIMPLE, very simple... I was thinking about a candle or light bulb something that created enlightment. Could be a life jacket.

I'm pretty sure its possible to adesign yiour own auras (like with psi-balls), but you would probably have to shape an already excisting aura in an object. Is it possible to apply psi-balls to objects?

Is it possible to apply psi-balls to objects? I think anything is possible. The only thing that would limit the device is the dreamer's mind and the lack of time put into it. I think basically once one gets past the first step of getting the object to reappear every dream then anything is possible. That is why I thought this was a interesting project to try because it isn't a group thing, but what the single person puts into their own version. We can all have different objects that aid us.
