OOBE? I felt like I came out of my physical body.

I've got a question hopefully someone can answer. I've heard a lot of people talking about this, but whether it's considered an OOBE I'm not sure. About a year ago when I was really wanting to lucid and trying different techniques. I tried a WILD. I was flat on my stomach and started hearing the noises and seeing the images after a bit I felt like i could "get out" of my physical body. Literally come out and walk around I had that gut feeling you know. Well after awhile of being stiff as a board, holding my breath and straining haha nothing happened at all. I started becoming more relaxed though and felt my body fall forward and through the pillow a couple of times. The first few times it scared me, because I didn't really know what was going on. I finally let it happen and fell through my pillow and the bed. Into dark grey void like place. I knew I had fallen into my dream. I stood there in the grey void for awhile and it was like I was in two places at once. I could still feel my body on the bed and arms under the pillow. I could still move my body, but only a little cause I would wake myself up. After my the circulation cut off from my arm, because of the way I was sleeping I had to wake up. Anyways. I told my friend about a few days after. He said that was pretty weird and I could tell by the half grin on his face he thought I was crazy. A few months later he came over and spent the night. We started talking about a book I had on dreams. He said,"Oh I forgot to tell you." He said he had experienced the exact same thing. He said he was laying on his couch for a nap and he had floated around his room. Like he could turn his body in the position it was in counter/clockwise and the axis being at the end of his feet. He was totally aware of his dad yelling for him too. Would these cases be OOBE's and have any of you experienced this type of thing before.

Your experience sounds like a normal WILD. I don't know about your friend's though.

first of all the mind is awesome.. I was incarcerated at the time of this dream it was 2004... I was reading all the books about the mind and religion and Atlantis that I could find doing my time in prison.. I came across an African folklore book which basically had nothing to do with Africa it just gave the definitions of words like clairvoyance, telepathy, out of body experience along with true stories and examples... Well night time hit and im laying on my rack... Its 2 women correction officers on duty and im falling asleep laying on my back ( i rarely rarely sleep on my back) Im noticing while Im falling asleep that i got some type of 3rd person vision and audio.. I started off not being able to hear anything all of a sudden I see myself layin on my bed its like im invisible looking at myself.. Then i hear the officers and I even saw them getting ice from an ice machine.. After I saw her get the ice my mind started trippin and let me know that something was goin on lol I called the CO name like" C.O. C.O." and I couldnt hear my voice at first it came out scratchy and different because i was sleep then i woke up and said it once more the women were laughing at me and looking weird as if they knew what happened... if they only knew i induced it on myself by accident would you call that an out of body experience?
