      Seeing into the future

Not to long ago i went to the mountains in West Virginia to go hunting and shooting with a bunch of friends of mine. We happened to come to a nice campsite in a radish field. Near dusk and after a long, tiring game of good ol' American football i took a seat in the middle of the field. And just like the apple hit newton, it dawned on me that i was witnessing the biggest case of DeJa Vu i have ever had. This wasnt my usual DeJa Vu where i feel like something has happened before. I had dreamt the entire camp out. from the shooting ranges, the buck we killed, to the radish field, and even the football game. It was as if i had had a dream about the future. For about an hour i was stunned, i couldnt move. I was an a state of complete awe. Is there anyone out there that has experienced anything along this line, or am I just crazy?

never of that high degree. Was once I had a long enough Deja Vu that I could predict what was going to happen for about 30 seconds. Was driving with a friend and everything fell into place for just that small time. Frightening a bit, but very very cool.

yep, that is how it happens. After some time you wont be so surprised by such things. I opened a thread " Are you still often surprised ?" which deals with the effect of our dreams on our life. I had so many Deja Vu's that i stopped counting them. And now i am happy when i am surprised by something.

I have DeJa Vu maybe once every 2 weeks, what intrigues me more is the amount of times ill think of something between 1 and 5 seconds before someone else says the same thing, or before a specific event happens. This happens so often that at one point i was keeping a list.
The rational side of me surmise that the thing that triggered my thinking about a specific subject and someone else speaking about that subject was the same thing (eg maybe we both saw something). This doesnt explain foresight of events though, most would obviously say coincidence :\

i think we are all telepathically connected, but havent reached the state to acknowledge it yet.

I think we are all just connected. "telepathically" as they say in "The Matrix" is just a word. But that we havent developed enough to realize it is true. Only sometimes we start to have the feeling about it.

CREEPY. I dont really get any deja vu anymore. I used to in high school, but now I just dont seem to realize it. It was minor stuff, just like conversations w/ friends or stuff like that. But to foresee an entire trip, thats messed up.
Why does it seem so hard to wake up now and see who we really are?

I'm a very scientific person so it pains me a little to say this, but there is something to dejavu. I used to get it to a point where I could say what was going to happen a few minutes before it did - and it almost always worked. My mind wants it to be coincidence... but who knows?

i once got this uncanny urge to duck down. it was so strong that i got really scared and just did it (this all happened in a manner of seconds)

at that point, , and i'm not joking here, a brick flew over my head and landed a few feet in front of me. nobody could explain where it came from but i know for sure it would have given me a nasty blow if i'd been standing up.

another time i was fighting with my cousin and in some weird way, i saw every punch he threw before he threw it. it was like on the first spiderman movie except i just knew what was going to happen ... rather than seeing it all in a slow-mo-spidey-sense-thing.

i'll say again, i'm not joking. it's up to you if you believed that. nobody else would but ... well ... it's a funny old world. i'd rather not live here on earth to be perfectly honest. ghost flying around, yetis and bigfeet and loch ness monster hiding away, ufos zipping about.

oh boy ... i'm going for a drink

      dreams can come true..

It has happened to me on 2 seperate occasions, altho not deja vu like you speak of, ive actually dreamt the future.
The first time was when I was about 8 years old, but i'll never forget it bcos I remember being so scared when I realised! We were at school and I saw a friend crying in the distance, she was walking away. That night I dreamt she had broken her arm and the next morning she arrived with a cast on her arm.
The second time was when I dreamt my boyfriend kissed another girl and the next morning I found out he had that night, this dream can I suppose be explained, perhaps in my mind I suspected he would do something like that and it was merely a coincidence it happened on the night I dreamt it, but the first experience is a little weirder, also they both occured the day after the dream.
