Thread: Full Report: USS Battleship North Carolina Findings....

Hey Folks,

As some of you may know, I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to spend the night on the USS Battleship North Carolina..There have been numerous claims of it being haunted, and TAPS had done an investigation there that was aired on scfi's Ghost Hunters...

Me a gentlemen from CPI (Capitol Paranormal Investigations) and about 11 other people spent the night on the battleship conducting investigations..Alot of strange events occured to me, and alot of other people that they cannot explain..I honestly dont even know where to begin..Through out the night we heard audible noises, thuds in rooms, I at one point along with another female that was with me had thought we seen a black shadow walking by a wall in one of the mess halls.....

I just got done reviewing all the audio from the investigation (about 5 hours of audio) I didnt come up with a single thing....HA! just kidding...got yah didnt i?...

The audio is quite interesting....There was a point where I was down a couple levels with a female and another guy, while two other ladies stayed above us because they didnt want to come down the ladder (too scared i guess)... Anywayz...We all audibly heard a sound....I said Hello....the noise got more intense...I said hello again as if trying to figure out what was going on....I had told the group after i asked what they were doing that It sounded like something was jingling....Well that wasnt the case at all...I reviewed the audio and figured out exactly what it was...Now im not going to tell you what it is..But i will tell you a couple voices were caught in the audio recording...one asking "Is there anybody up there?" and one saying "Excuse me" really close to me.... What you want to listen for is a few seconds of sound after i say the first Hello...the sound keeps going even after i say the second hello.. Like i said, I am not going to tell you what it is.. Im only going to tell you this....Think 1940's...On a battleship in the middle of the ocean......

There was a time i was conducting EVP work with Chad from CPI...and my flashlight that i had bought the night before would not turn on..I had clicked it atleast about 10 times on and off and it still would not turn on..finally it ended up turning on by itself without me even pushing a button...The flashlight i had, by the end of the night was nearly dead, and i mean, nearly.....There were other incidents i had my audio device going and we were walking on the top decks to try to find the nightwatchmen to get him to turn off some lights, and the boom box George (an investigator) had somehow just turned on...But for some reason, it didnt get picked up on audio......Samething happened when we were in a room called the bullpen..we were conducting more investigations there and for some reason at 1 oclock in the morning the phone in there rang once and stopped..that didnt get picked up on audio either...

We had a couple sensitives with us that night and one of them happened to come along with us..We were conducting more investigations around the ship and I ended up picking up a human noise (that was not heard audibly) that you will not beable to miss...I urge you to listen to the whole recording because the last one speaking is the sensitive..Its interesting how it all comes together like a puzzle...

The next clip the sensitive was still with us...She heard a noise audibly that no one else did because of the chattering going on..but luckly..my recorder caught it.... have a listen.....

This next audio clip is interesting..It was just George and I investigating the lower parts of the ship.. I had my recorder going while he was doing some EMF work..We ended up walking into a room and i say "Hello" there is something caught after that, that was not heard by a human ear.. I have an idea what its saying, I would just like your opinions on what you hear...

The next clip took place in the Bullpen..The bullpen was probably the most active ROOM outta the whole entire ship that night..so much unexplained stuff went on that we cannot explain...This clip I, along with George and his daughter were doing more EVP work...I had asked to give us a physical sign of its presense.....

The mess hall was another very active location...George, Myself, his daughter, a lady named Jenni, and her husband were all investigating down there...Jenni was using a dowsing rod to have the spirit tell us where it was...This clip was pretty intense, we ended up having to walk away from the spot...nothing unusual as far as EVP stuff, but just an interesting clip..

The next clip was with George and I again walking around the ship...I was wanting to do some EVP work..The noise caught on the recording was not heard at the time...

This probably the most interesting capture besides one other one..It was me, a guy named Travis, and his girlfriend down in the mess hall.. We had sworn we saw something like a Black Mass, which we reffered to as a blackman at one point because it looked human (not that it was african american or anything)...In the beginning of the clip you can hear us (both guys talking) you will hear something very clear that doesnt fit....then you will hear Travis say "But yah for a second there I thought I did see a black man" There is another guys' voice that was not audibly heard during that time.. I have an idea on what its saying but would like your opinion...

Those are the findings I caught.. There were alot of more unusual things that happened on audio that cannot be explained but We had a pretty good idea on what it could have been so we had to toss it out...There were actually alot of funny moments caught on audio that at the time we thought we were going to wee our pants, but figured out that it was nothing to be afraid of.. Althought I did not physically see a ghost...George and I did feel something (like a gust of wind) blow past us in the Bullpen, which is a very stagnit room, meaning that there is no air flow, what so ever...Also in the bullpen with George late at night during our final round in there I had felt something brush the back of my head and my hair felt like it got lifted up...

Jenni another lady on the investigation saw a white mist come out the wall and go inbetween her and somebody else--they caught it on audio--but sadly no video...

There were just so many incidents that happened on that ship...By far a crazy experience...We are planning another trip here in a month or 2 to go back and do a serious investigation, this investigation was more so..Go and see what you can find....
