Deja vu.....maybe........

ok it was weird....i have two 7 month old baby brothers their twins. Steven Malachi and Matthew Paul. well stevens my little baby...he never leaves my side...litterally. well today i don't know what happened. i kinda passed out or blacked out or something. but i saw steven and he was sitting up in his baby bed(they are just learning to sit up and pull them selves up) and he pulled him slef up on the side of the bed. Well the side was down real low because no one knew he could do this yet. and he pulled himself up to where he was standing, and since the side was so low he flipped over the side of the bed and died almost instantly.

well soon after i either woke up or was woken up or something and as soon as i did i said "WHERE'S STEVEN?!" and my mom was like " he's in his bed sleeping why whats wrong" and i got up and ran in there. as i was walking in the room he was pulling himself up to the side of the bed.....

can anyone explain this....

Very wierd I must admit... but these things are always hard to prove.
I mean, it seems like it wasn't coincidence, but it *could* have been, in the whole massive scheme of things...

That's the trouble why paranormal phenomenon, they happen in 'hard to prove' ways - so you're never quite 100% sure.
Like that dream interuption with my wife (sort of like dream sharing)
I haven't had the right circumstances to do it again

the weird part is, is that it has happened before. about seven years ago i was walking thru a park with my mom and sister and i blacked out. i saw my Uncle Jimmy and two if my other uncles in a car, next thing i saw was fire and a lot of it. when i woke up a was sweating and a lot. i wouldn't tell anyone what i saw..i hadn't thought anything of it. three days later i learned that my Uncle Jimmy had died in a car accident along with two of my other uncles . theri car exploded at the scene of the accident and they burned to death.

But if you we're seeing the future, you would have seen you waking up and getting your child before anything happened..right?

Thats my point. If you really saw into the future, you couldnt use that info to change the future, because then that future you saw wasnt the future at all. So the premonition was false.

i guess that would depend on what one believes.

Is the future already determined meaning your fate has already been decided or can one change the future with the power of choosing..

yea i know..i suck..i cant remember the phrase..it has something to do with fate and the ability to choose one's future which may alter there future which then goes into alternate universes..blah blah blah...im going to stop now

You do have the ability to shape your future, but that doesnt mean you have two futures. jsut the one. So whatever future youre seeing, is NOT the future. Teh future is whats going to happen. If it doesnt happen..then its not the future!

Gameover, one might also argue that psychological connections (ie telepathic ability) exist, and Death Dreamer somehow knew his brother was getting up to no good.

THat contradicts itself. You cant stop the future form happening. It happens and then there it is. I understand youre saying you saw that something that at the time might have happened, but you werent seeing the future, becuase it didnt happen.

I heard dejavu's something that happened before and you vaguely remember it. And it happens again. Now this ain't no de ja vu.
And yeah, if you saw into the future, then you can't do anything about it, can you? And one more thing. If you suddenly see yourself in your future-dream-thing, does that mean you have to do what the future tells you to do? SO if you saw yourself running into the fire in the dream, then something drives you to do th esame in the real lif? Now this is turning out like a movie (the butterfly effect maybe?)

me and my boyfriend were talking about deja vu the other sunday...

basically i think it's french for 'happened before' because that's what it's like... you sit there thinking 'this has happened before'. one way that it's explained is that one side of your brain is actually receiving the sensory information a split second before the other side. therefore, by the time the 2nd side of the brain has processed and received what is going on, it feels as if it's a memory - because in a way it is.

my boyfriends definition was different... when he told me about his deja vu he said :

'well caelan (his 7 year old) was rolling around on the floor in large cardboard box (????!!!) in a large open space and it made me remember a similar experience'.

which i suppose is deju vu in someways, but the deju vu i've always experienced is when everything is the same and you're thinking 'crikey, this has all happened before'.
