The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.
      7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.
does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.

It looks like Wendylove is right.

Never thought I'd say that. Anyhow, yeah, investigate things before believing what you think sounds nicest, else you'll end up like half the misguided fundamentalists out there.

Is there a reason why when we die and expierience this NDE that it tells us the same thing to love, to show compassion, and help everyone out? is it because it knows we have 1 life to live? so live our life helping others out as much as we can because this is what we are supposed to do, our lifes purpose,it meaning our brains, assuming it's our brains creating this expierience. Maybe this is what we really are without our ego.

Your life's purpose is to live your life. It's a waste if your life is centered around helping others.

Pretty much, aye. There should be no extremes. Helping others is good and in more than just a stereotypical moral way. Helping others results in getting help yourself and being at peace and care with others. But that doesn't mean it should be the only or "most important" thing done in life.

So why is it they seem to come back with "help others as much as i can" mentality? of course if you think about it it is for selfish reasons...help people out betters your afterlife energy or w/e, so your plain of existance or whatever it is is higher then it would be if you did it less.

That is the danger of giving up on the search for truth; you settle to trade life for the hopes of an afterlife.

If helping others feels good, then do it, but do it for the right reasons; and for crying out loud, make sure what you are doing is actually helping; not just putting your faith in a random charity. Hey, they care about children at Mcdonalds after all, that's why they poison them.

The greatest service one can do for his fellow man is to get educated and seek the truth at any cost. Teach a man not only to fish, but to comprehend.

Perhaps these people do come back from an important experience and learn that "love is all that matters" or something; but the point is that such a thing is usually not at all close to the normal practice of philanthropy: the practice of teaching people how to not take care of themselves.
