Do we have the option of going back? |
Ok, say we somehow found a way to dispose of our physical bodies and go to a different realm as energy beings (like stargate atlantis "ancients") for aslong as we want, would you go there? or wait untill you die and see if it's true risking pure nothingness forever? this place you go to might be without the feelings the afterlife supposidly brings. |
No, your flesh and bone are gone, and you're pure energy and can go anywhere. Only way back is to find a way to share a body with someone. |
Well of COURSE floating around as an energy is better than pure nothingness forever, but obviously, remember, pure nothingness forever wouldn't mean getting sucked into an empty dimension and being able to think about it, "Hmm, so this is death. Well, it sure is dark in here." |
Because we would be our brains, a dead brain would let you see nothing, feel nothing...you will be able to do nothing, not able to be aware you're nothing so yeah, we would not care we are dead because we would not know we are dead because we would not be aware. |
That's the thing of nothingness. Poof, vacuumed, gone, dead, history, goodbye, never happened, never will happen again. If we are dead, our memories die with us or untill everyone forgets, then we never existed, nor can there be proof we existed, because we have nothing to back they existed up with. Anyway, would you risk pure nothingness at a belief there is an afterlife, or would you not risk it because of the nothingness part, and transform yourself into pure energy and stay at a different dimention forever or aslong as your energy exists (i hear some energy can be destroyed, but some cannot be destroyed). |

Nothingness is equivalent to everything-ness. |
