something tells me its not possible to share a dream..i mean, to do that, the other person woud need to be inside your head, wouldn't they?

I've moved this to Beyond Dreaming for you. I don't know anything about shared dreaming, but I'm sure you can find the info you're looking for in this forum.

the problem disappear if you simply don't believe mary existed at all---

anyway matt's question is interesting. imaging that shared dream exist, does it happen "inside" one of the dreamers or "somewhere else" where the two meet?
I think this is only speculative, but the question remains good!

Who says the Dream Realm doesn't exist as a separate dimension of this world, eh?

      Hi NZ,
There is research on this being done right here on our own site by the Research Team . What makes finding an answer to your question tricky is that there is no globally accepted answer to what luicd dreams (or dreams in general) really are. People who appoach this problem from different backgrounds will have different definitions - such as we just saw above: spiritual or scientific.

We must first define which dreaming is before we can start applying whether it's possible. I'm not going to even attempt to come up with a definition myself, however, I could ask you this: do you believe in ESP, claravoyance, remote viewing, etc? While these are all things that most would have to experience to believe in, the existansce of them would help the argument for being able to dream share.

Even if ESP sounds a bit too far fetched for you, how would you explain intuition. You ever just know something was gonna happen? or just get a "bad feeling" about something just before witnessing it's unfortunate outcome? Sure, could be chance. But why did you feel it in the first place?

Could go on and on about this and still not prove anything, but it should be just enough to keep an open mind about certain things.

Fear not for I will master dreaming and one day perfect the art of dream stalking. My beliefs do permit shared dreaming to exist though, that's a plus. No, I don't think they take place in one's head. closer to outer space.

After I do, I am going to hunt down Seeker and complain about the lucid task of the month, and hit the highlights from the more famous people on DV.

This sounds pretty interesting. If any of you happen to encounter a 17 year old blonde guy with blue eyes while sleeping, I'd like to have a dream battle. You know, we fight eachother to the "death." If/when shared dreaming becomes realized, that's probably the first thing I'll do.
