      Spirit Guides?

I've heard reports on this board about spirit guides. I was wondering if I had one also, and how I could see this guide?

Basically I just asked while in a lucid dream. I can usually tell that a DC is my guide of some description because they pay very close attention to me, are easy to understand, and answer "yes" when I ask them if they are my spirit guide.

There will usually be this familiarity with them too. Some people believe that while DCs can pose as people you know, nothing can pose as your spirit guide. Others believe that "bad spirits" can and will lie about being your guide.

After you've made a few contacts though, you can generally tell the difference between them and other spirits or DCs.

If you aren't a person blessed with clairvoyancy, clairaudience, or clairsentience, then basically the only way you will see this guide is through lucid dreaming. Even then, they might not show up if they don't think you are ready to see them.

I looked those three terms up, and my friend claims she has those symptoms. I never really believed her, and I don't think there is any way I can be proven otherwise, so I tell her that I want to believe in her, but it's hard to.

      Thanks for the help.

That's called your dream guide. Anytime you're sleeping, and ask for your guide it is your dream guide.

I questioned my guide if it was my spirit guide. Spirit guides are also present in dreams. It's the easiest way to contact them. I speak with mine outside of dreams as well, using automatic writing.

Sometimes they say some strange things, but other times they are quite correct.

One time my guide randomly said "white car", "milk tanker" and "Penshurst Road". About a year later, my friend died when driving a white car near Penshurst Road. She got hit by a milk tanker.

      =/

They won't often give full details. A lot is left for you to question and try to piece together the puzzle. It's hard to know what they are talking about if you don't ask the right questions. I just brushed it off as "Oh, it must have been be influencing it. That makes no sense."

      But I know better, now.

Even with the most nonsensical things that I'm told, I try to explore every avenue of what it could mean before I brush it off as something stupid.

Oh, and I recommend looking at www.crystalinks.com if you want some awesome descriptions about spirit guides and how to contact them in the waking world. You can see some examples of both automatic writing and automatic art in my dream journal, posted here on Dream Views. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=54646
