Just wondering about something. When you're dreaming and you're not aware you're dreaming and can't take over, how is it that if say you dream of a person you once new, in this case my dog. I used to have these dreams alot, she would be alive, and i am thinking and saying to myself outloud "she can't be alive, she is dead", so i go play with her, but then she dies...i mourn, only to later in the dream she comes back to life, and i get a weird feeling because she was dead, then alive, then dead, now all of a sudden she's alive again. This can happen several times in my dream. What's the point of this dream? keeps dieing, and coming back to life. One time i woke up confused thinking my dog was actually alive...5 or so seconds later i snap out of it and recognize she has died. This doesn't happen anymore but i'm sure it will happen again. I know she's dead, and i know the dream i'm in is real, and that i'm not dreaming (so not an LD).
One time i was at a hill and saw her running to me, then i am VERY confused and know she's supposed to be dead, my dad was in this dream and he's confused because he knows she is supposed to be dead, i see then walk to the vet guy, and he's confused because animals cannot come back from the dead. So the 3 of us are standing there confused about how my dog can be alive, when me and my dad know she was creamated and her ashes in the house. Everytime i have this dream i'm always confused, i always know she should be dead, and then i always know she will die again only for me to see her again. Of course i'm not 100% convinced but i say to myself "She will die and come back to life like she keeps doing" Dreams were all like connected i guess you could say, i kept having the same feelings, so did every DC that i knew in RL. Funny thing is, other dead people i was not confused on, just my dog.
Maybe the whole "know she will come back to life" part is because i tell myself irl that i will see her again, although i have doubts because nobody knows what happens after death...therefore she dies again.
