Thread: Astral Projection

Astral Projection differs from Dreaming in that in AP, your spirit separates from your body in the same way it does when you die - except that in the case of an AP, your body contiues to function.

In dreaming, you can experience the same function, but your spirit has not necessarily left your body.

In essence, both are gateways to alternate realities in which we interface with higher levels of essence. In AP, you are always conscious of yourself and your place in things. In dreaming, this only happens when you become Lucid.

Therefore, one can accomplish the same things in a Lucid Dream that one could in an Astral, or Out of Body, state.

Can you meet up with others? Yes. But it is very difficult and requires a lot of work, understanding, and/or luck.

I've never accomplished it and no one I know directly has. However, I have it on authority that I trust implicitly that others have, and therefore, I accept that it can and has been done.

And yes... you sound insane.

If you project into the real time plane, and another does the same, (this mostly happens when you just simply OBE), then you will see each other. Spirits some times get stuck in the real time plane when they die, thus creating ghosts. I cant confirm that though, its just what ive heard. Ive never actually seen anything but my cat that was not asleep or projecting but in its real form walk around. But they say you can see everyone else projecting quite easily when you project yourself into the real time plane.
