A couple of nights ago, I was in a forest in a very D&D-like setting, battling two dark elves while I was a dragon (or at least able to fly and breathe fire). I grabbed onto each of them, and pulled them down through the canopy to the forest floor. I had them sort of pinned, and called out for help, though i wasn't able to recall to whom i was calling. This part might be important, as you'll see later.

The scene became a sort of CSI-meets-D&D with a friend from high school searching through a faery murder scene for evidence of who did it. After a while, the forest became a teenage boy's bedroom (but not any from my memory). I was sitting on one bed and my friend was sitting on the other and we were sort of shooting the breeze and goofing around. While we were both laughing our asses off, I heard (and felt) a loud fart come from under the bed. My friend immediately accused me, but I yelled "It wasn't me! Someone's under the bed!" The room became very dark and a very strange being crawled out from under the bed. It was about 6ft tall and very thin - almost gangly. The figure had no features and was completely black, but also semi-transparent and almost glistening. My friend brought out his gun (residual from the previous scene) and told the figure not to move. However, the figure seemed to ignore my friend and was moving toward the door. I yelled "Don't move!" and it stopped completely (I was more afraid of being shot by my friend as the figure was standing between my friend and I).

I've only been able to come up with two explanations (but am VERY open to hearing others, please ) First, I read a thread the other day on 'Night Stalkers and Dream Walkers' and such a figure my just be my own mind creating it's own conception of a Night Stalker/Dream Walker - i.e. the figure was a standard dream entity created from memory. Second, that such a being actually WAS a Night Stalker/Dream Walker. Now, I'm not usually the type to go in for such explanations without a lot of argument and some pretty convincing self experiences. But, this being was definitely a lot different from my 'regular' dream beings and not just in its appearance: I've never seen a being in a dream completely IGNORE other dream beings. I had the feeling that this being KNEW that I was the major danger to it, not my friend with the gun.

Any thoughts on this would be great and thanks for reading
