What if Aliens landed....

Its 9am in the morning, you have just woken up and decide to switch on the T.V, you flick through the channels and decide to watch the news. You stare with amazement as the News channel reads " Breaking News-- Aliens landed on all major cities--World leaders to make communication..
As you watch more you realise that these aliens are not here to make war... You look outside and see a huge fleet of spacecraft, the space craft are huge, bigger than any man made air craft..

How would you react to this???

Most peeps would probably shit a brick!

What do they look like? Are they scary looking? They might seem peaceful but who knows when they will get hungry for a brain sandwich

We're gonna be a bit suspicious of them I am sure!

I guess we would have to live with it though

Also, the aliens wouldn't be able to land in America without first acquiring a green card..

I would be most interested in what they have to say, though not with complete faith that they are telling us the absolute truth. but certainly it would be interesting to see what another race thinks about hot topics today : religion, spirituality, and whether or not our science is on the right track. *such as, are some things that science believes in now, false, like believing in a flat earth?*

while its easy to imagine aliens as being hostile, thanks to sci-fi movies. someone once pointed out, don't know who, but - its really hard for a hostile civilization to continuously advance, without eventually falling down hard. history has proven this.

an idea that there is some evil alien race out there that just wants to blow other life up because they hate life, isn't logical. because there is no unity in hatred. they would be at each others heels.

considering all that must happen for a space age civilization - so far - logically - they must have cooperation. and such a grand cooperation at this level, requires peace of some kind.

or consider this. what would happen if you gave modern day technology to cave men? to video games, to phones, to GUNS, to bombs? do you think they have the state of mind, the social structure TO NOT KILL EACH OTHER? the cave man, can not have modern day technology. we would have gone extinct if we did!!!!!

technology always matches the advancement of the culture and its people. otherwise the technology DESTROYS that culture and her people because they lack the state of mind to use such technology without harming themselves.

so. for a culture to reach space age - it is more logical to assume they are peaceful, and not hostile. and I would even say, its why we aren't up there in space.

I would love to hear what they have to say. just, don't touch me, thanks. >:0

I would hide somewhere like a closet or something(I did this in a dream once and got zapped with a raygun). If they are friendly I would accept it , but if they are hostile then there is nothing I would do but run. Alien invasions are one of my greatest fears.

I would be very curious about their spiritual beliefs if any...and also about their language. Second, I would be interested in their technology and if they even used electricity still. I am a very curious person and would probably be very open to just learning.

Anyways, I'd be feeling kinda uneasy. I'd glimpse out my window and look in suspicion. If they are peaceful, I'll be cautious. If they turn out to be hostile, I'll get my machete and hope they don't break into my house.

If the Alien's true intentions are pure, it would take time to get used to, but I wouldn't really be bothered working alongside them.

if there are aliens landed on earth then we have a big problem coz for them to find us first this means they are way much advanced than s and for them to land tells that they are sure that we cant harm them in anyway so lets just hope that they are peace full but that is if we are talking about a spaceship or something but if it is just a comet etc... then we may have a chance to be able to control it .......... o bye the way have been training on kung fu, body bulding , firearms ,diving ,........................ so bring it on you greenthing lol

lol, why do you doubt I would? I suppose it would depend on how humanoid they were, but come on, common sense says if they were against us they would have blown us up without a second thought.

Same here! Ever seen the movie "Mars Attacks!"? Gave me nightmares.

If they had some of the typical attributes of the stereotypical alien (big, dark eyes, etc.), I would probably hide.

Honestly, they just creep me out (I would definitely not want to be the unlucky one who gets abducted by one, or has one looking through his window).

Or imagine you're sleeping one night with the window open and you hear odd voices, so you look and two creepy aliens are just standing there, staring at you with those huge, black eyes, and those hideous, skeletal fingers. I'd probably be frightened to death. >_<

I simply can't say how I'd react until it happens. I think most people are like that. My current expectations go that I'd actually be excited about it because something had finally happened to change this boring world. As for my IMMEDIATE reaction, I have not a clue what I'd do.

This is how i think it will happen... Day one- Mass ufo sightings accross major cities. Day 3- Goverment comes up with a coverup claiming they were military flights. Day 6- More and more sightings, the media display home footage. Day 7- The goverment under pressure finnaly admits Earth is being visited by aliens. Day 8- Panicked people sparks small riots for a few days. Day 12- Order is restored and arrangments to meet are in progress.
